What's going on in this little red Greenhouse ?

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well and had a lovely weekend ! As for us, we've just finished this session in the countryside and returned to the city yesterday, which - between you and me - feels terribly strange all of a sudden !

Not a day has gone by this week that we haven't been active in the garden. We've been planting, pruning and organizing, as you'll see in the next few articles I'd like to share...

So today I'd like to give you a little visual summary of the first few days, ahead !

IMG_5972.JPG

Here's our famous little greenhouse that was already there when we arrived... Some people would like to repaint it, at least that's what they suggested. But for my part, I quite like this color, which contrasts with the omnipresent green of the garden. So what do you think ?

IMG_5968.JPG

The various seedlings we started a while ago are growing slowly but surely, and I think that within a month we'll be able to put calendula and amaranth all over the rest of the garden !

IMG_5974.JPG

IMG_5979.JPG

So here we are, in the middle of a planting session in the orchard, where it's mainly fruit trees and small shrubs that are joining this future little fruit forest :)

IMG_5987.JPG

IMG_5990.JPG

I finally found the trees I wanted to add: some Autumn Chalef - Elaeagnus umbellata - and several berry trees like Goji - Lycium barbarum - and Japanese Goumi - Elaeagnus multiflora.

IMG_5994.JPG

Just by opening our eyes and paying attention, we can see that biodiversity is very much present on our land and in the surrounding area, and it's a pleasure to think that through our modest actions, we can multiply the biodiversity that already exists !

That's all for today's roundup. I hope you've enjoyed this article, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions :)

Have a good week and take care,

<3

<3

Seems like you made good progress! And I can imagine how strange it was to get back to the city. That artificial place where connecting with nature is so much more difficult than out in the countryside.
As for your question: I do like the red colour of your greenhouse too. It just adds to the variety and beauty of your garden.
P.S. there is one paragraph in the English section not translated. Just below the pictures of inside the greenhouse. Not a big deal though. 😉
Have a lovely week and take care!

I adore the red - it's so different to the usual green and a spot of colour in the winter! Looks like you are really going full steam ahead. It's up to us to do what we can to help biodiversity 💕💕

PS in response to last comment, we aren't on the road til the car arrives mid March. I'm very impatient but also enjoying being in UK and relaxing a bit for a change.

Don't repaint it 😊 It looks cool! Last year, I've sprinkled calendula seeds all over the garden and most of them came up. It didn't occur to me to start them inside 😊 How are you going to use amaranth? To eat, as a decoration or as a ground cover? There might be also other option that I don't know about 😁

Your land looks great! Can't wait to see it in summer 😊

I love this red greenhouse. The color looks unique
Also, you did a lot of work at the farm so it is advisable to have a good rest

This 🙌💫 Nature can be so therapeutic, no? Ah, to plant and watch a fruit forest grow...! Autumn Chalef, Goji trees and Japanese Goumi. No apples? Sounds idyllic, albeit hard work. Owning an orchard is such a dream. Oh, and don't repaint the greenhouse! Red is a great look!
