Back to the Simple Life, back to the Countryside

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well ! We're back home in the countryside, and even with my broken back, I've been able to drive here to enjoy what I call 'the simple life' again.

It's a way of life that comes close to Zen philosophy - a movement of thought that has fascinated me for many years - and which consists simply of doing what you have to do, devoting yourself to it fully in the moment and without thinking about what you're going to do next. Each moment chases another, like the course of a river, or rather as if by staying on the bank, you were only attached to the water and its molecules as they flowed past. In perpetual change, then.

And when I arrived, of all the thousand and one things I could have chosen to do and allowed myself to do, the one thing that really stood out for me was the simple act of taking photos ! Like here, of this part of the front of the house bathed in sunlight...

All these images were taken with my Nikon D5500 camera equipped with a 35mm fixed focal length lens. When I got home, I thought about installing my 17-75mm zoom, but I really like this other lens for several reasons. The 35mm is light, very light, absolutely reliable, doesn't cause distortion and has a very large aperture at 1.8. Frankly, even compared to the comfort of a zoom, there are times when I prefer it !

Here's a quick look at the inside of the house. For the moment, we haven't done any major work, so it's a bit camping at times, but we're happy with it !

DSC_0902.JPG

On the front of the house, the Virginia creeper has lost its last leaf in front of us. That's it, winter's about to start...

DSC_0987.JPG

One of the activities we undertook a few hours after our arrival was to move all the wood that had been poorly stored in the garage, which was too damp, to this shelter built on pallets and therefore raised off the ground.

With my bad back, I had to carry two logs at a time, that's how time-consuming it was !

DSC_0968.JPG

Then we brought a few logs inside to start the fire at the end of the day. Outside it was 9°C and inside it was 14°C without a fire...

DSC_0962.JPG

A quick tour of the field and the orchard, which I'll tell you more about soon...!

But already the day is beginning to fade and night is approaching, with the setting sun providing beautiful light in front of and on the windows of the house...

And here's the house from the back, a few hours earlier on the way down from our tower at the top of the field.

That's all for this short article visually summarizing our arrival in the countryside and the few hours that followed. Thank you for your visit, and I hope you have a lovely Sunday,

<3

With my bad back, I had to carry two logs at a time, that's how time-consuming it was !

So sorry you have to work this much, please you have to be more careful so the pains won't escalate. I hope the back gets better

You're right ! I tend to be a bit hyperactive, but I've been taking it easy for the last few days and I think it's paying off, it's getting better all the time :)

Indeed, it was a bit of stretching, but I chilled also... hopefully !

And now, bit by bit, it's improving :)

Thank you @rafzat

I have permanent pain. Shoulder and also back

Arf, that sucks :// Do you know by what is it caused ?

No, I don't know that, how or for what is it used ?

yeah, was caused by a strong accident..
and bad treatment/ care
just the surgery alone was years too late.. and even without follow-up treatment/ care..

DMSO helps great with pain and cramps, especially at locations where the metabolism can no longer reach so well

DMSO is a great transportation matrix (good stuff in and bad stuff out) it is one of the few substances that is WATER- AND FAT-SOLUABLE, like alcohol.. but thousand times better:
alcohol is neurotoxic and damages you
DMSO has many healing effects! so completely different world compared to alcohol

so it is also a great base substance (especially as transport matrix) for tinctures and does not have the negative effects of the alcohol, if one uses DMSO instead of alcohol for tinctures :)

cuz of that great transport matrix it also boosts up bioavailability, which makes one need LESS
of everything: painkillers, medicaments (I basicaly take none anymore, already in my stationary pain therapy years back)

greets

Arf, I hope that this has improved the consequences of this accident!

Thank you for all these details about this product, indeed, it seems completely recommended for what I have too! I'll mention it to the osteopath I'm supposed to see in a week!

Many thanks to you!
