Also, make sure to never read my older comments.

Now I am tempted to do this....but no, I will take your advice...hehheheh

Well, Ego is our friend, our enemy and the king of dramas as you said

If it helps us evolve like the ancient folks, then it is our friend

if it allows us to shut up, so we don't feel stupid, then it is our enemy

Now, if it makes us drive others to a corner just to prove that we are right....then we are acting some sort of dramas

either ways, we need to find a way to balance the three psychology of Ego that you explained

If one can do this, it will work for our own good, especially with the part where we would be privileged to have some adventurous life with no fear of feeling stupid in the end

Great entry sir, I wish you luck in the contest

There will come a point, when you notice, that the voices in your head are not you!

this is "my" approach to long term problem solving. "my" brain is going to do its thing and put words in "my" head, with or without "me." sometimes the words are good and useful, sometimes they're not.

love the bantering style, good luck in the contest!

Great approach. Just how I feel (on a good day at least). Thoughts are nothing but suggestions and I pick the ones I seize.

Thanks for the wishes. You, too!

Always be on the guard against self-erasure. It is going to far on the side of being less egotistical ruins things.

True. That's what I meant with ego being your friend. People without any ego might turn into doormats.

I also went the nondualism route for a while. But that's a story for another time. :)

If you don't like someone's actions, you're not trying to find a way to change his behavior. Instead, you choose to instantly give them up and drive them into a corner.

This is so true, works best. We should put aside our ego and give a chance to others to express the POV that ways you get to understand their perspective and many times you would find your ego coming in way of something really good. Nice post mate! Cheers!

Let's be friends, you morrons!

Maybe I missed what happened but I didn't spot any major arguments and I hope there aren't any like there were on Steemit. Maybe that's the problem with POS, it always ends up the same.

I often feel that our ego is us, it's sometimes present in our personalities, communication, actions and so many peculiarities about us. Sometimes like leech on our skin. It can be inevitable

Very good writing and style, I enjoyed reading, although with difficulty, given the barriers that are in front of me due to my poor English.

You have an original approach to the Ego, a benevolent approach that I did not think of. I see only the negative side, maybe because I can't stand selfishness. The real selfish people I know.

It seems to me that you sometimes make a rapprochement between ego and consciousness. I believe that the ego is not perceived by those touched, just as crazy people do not realize that they are crazy. I'm an opponent of the selfish and I probably can't be objective.

Once again, your elaborate and cursive writing is enjoyable to read and reveals a person who has the tools and the habit of writing. Good luck in the contest, I think you are among the favorites.

Thanks. :)

Yeah ego has it's benefits, too. Nothing in psychology is black and white. Everything has its' benefits.

Ego in communication

Ok, I don't know who(I think) you're talking about, but I'm seeing, and not just here, but in life a lot of people, with different backgrounds, from different sides, ideological sides, getting into this form of acting. They don't try to be reasonable. They just attack, attack, attack, and when the consequences come, they whine like coward dogs: "Oh, they are persecuting me", "Oh, they are evil", "Oh, I'm a free person(I hear it from all sides), and they are trying to censure me, these ugly sons of bitchs don't like when I tell then that they are ugly bastards sons of bitch"(duhhhh), ok, I don't think that sometimes people aren't persecuted, or wronged, I know that some people are, but when you act first when you overstep limits, you have to expect reactions, and you have to be responsible, without whining, or worst, using your whinings and rantings to profit... Another example: We see a lot of this with religious people too, they try to convert you, force you to accept their ideas, and when you react, you are a son of the devil or something like that...

Well, I got excited, I will stop here, but I think I made my point.

Nice text.No balls part, but nice text.

Thanks. Sounds like it hit a nerve. :)

Yeah. I have to work on the balls per post ratio. Sorry about that. :(

Ah, it's ok, sometimes balls its not present in life too.

I didn't see where it hits, but if hits it's means that you are not wrong... well, some people never learn, or it's profitable to do what they do, so, they keep doing it... but don't let them hit you back.

What do you think our world would look like if we didn't have an ego?

We would be mindless drones without opinions and without any motivation. Ants or bees without a queen.

Hmmmm interesting! I think the world would been even more chaotic as we wouldn’t have any barriers on our most basic emotions

You've covered the ego in a lot of ways (with a very nice approach), and in fact, it's a pretty broad subject. Talking about ego is getting into a debate of endless extension, haha.

It gets more and more difficult to read this post. I keep getting caught up by:

I had a great idea, guys! You know what we're missing this week? Another post about ego! Let's do it! Are you excited? Guys?... guys? PAY ATTENTION TO ME!

I can't stop laughing. I don't know why. Awesome post though. I was able to finish reading it. I just...can't lol.

I don't see ego as the enemy, we just need to have a discipline mind and I am sure will be fine in managing our ego
