Not theft, exploitation.
I have no money to steal, but I can be exploited for my labor by someone with alot of money.

Exploitation is when you place a worm on a hook to catch a fish. Its also using that fish to bait a bigger fish with.
What are you? A slave? A worm? A fish?!
shakes fist
ITS NOT THEFT, ITS UNDERVALUING!
!lol
Why do guitars cost so much?
Because I can't make one and those that can exploit my inability to make a guitar by charging more for them.
Why do doctors make more than plumbers?
Because doctors exploit people's inability to heal themselves.
Without plumbers we all die of sepsis.
Plumbers are exploiting people's inability, too.
Money is the root of that.

If we all die without plumbers explain before plumbers.
Money is why people learn to make guitars, well I guess we have money to thank for music.
Just look at the cholera outbreaks in haiti.

No water treatment plants there.
NYC was the same before plumbing broke out.
All dead, not some or a lot, come back with something more convincing.
Does it matter if you are dead and nobody else gets sick from lack of plumbing?
It still doesn't change your statement if I would be the last to ever die from lack of plumbing.
Probably a city problem more than a survivor's.
There'll be another @baah.
I think its theft, whichever way you slice it, if it smells like theft, tastes like theft and quaks like theft, its probably not exploitation, but theft.
Rule by force is the disease, who and how are symptoms.™
What was that about pitchforks and torches? ®
Defense of self is not aggression against another.
They leave people alone and there won't be any violence.
They find justice by the mob? Justice doesn't come by mob. Gangs and Mafia have better justice than pitchforks and torches.
Sure, if you are one of them, otherwise one might not think so.
We all have to find our toleration point then figure out what we are ready to do about it.
No, they are more just because they don't pretend to be lawful or just, which you can't say for the mob.
I don't see how pretense changes realities.
I wouldn't want either mad at me.
Mob Justice isn't a substitute for justice, its unjust. Justice is the domain of an impartial jury, with the presumption of innocence benefiting the accused and with the right of the accused to challenge his accusers.
What is a jury if not an organized mob?
While not advocating for mob rule, I don't see the difference in what we have and just letting the crowd do what they do.
Does lending an air of credibility somehow change the fact that it is still mob violence just violence behind a veneer of respectability?
Look at the wisconsin governor debacle, one jury says not guilty and another says guilty.
Which is it?
Were those 6 people entrapped by the 12 fibber agents, or were they not?
Why do we tolerate lying by our agents authorized to kill with impunity?
Why do we vest this power in a tiny handful of notoriously corruptible people?
Better, imo, if we arm everybody and just kill those aggressing against others on the spot.
It's how our founding fathers would have done it.
There's more to it than that. There's the right to appeal, yes the jury can be captured, the lower courts captured, the appellate courts, the supreme courts, and even the supreme court, but even then, mob justice won't be just. Our founding father's didn't execute the judges and officials. They declared independence, not by sword, but by law. The law was enforced by sword, as law must be. They never had a problem with rule of law, they had a problem with confiscation of arms and gun powder, with paying taxes with currency that was in extreme scarcity, and with paying taxes foisted on them by outsiders.
They may have declared independence, but they got it by fighting off the thugs of the crown.
I agree that courts and cops may look good on paper, but the facts are there are many points of friction with it.
Not least of which is some killers get impunity to continue killing people that don't have it coming.
I'd probably support something similar to what we have were the positions of power rotated in some manner rather than bestowed for life or won in clearly rigged elections.
I say rigged because there is no way to count those that don't participate and those that participate are on one side of issue, generally.
Why do local taxes pass so easily?
Because the people against them don't vote in the numbers of the people that support them.

Indeed!
