The historic bridge that was built by the English during the colonial period and destroyed by them. The historical bridge that was first built on the Irrawaddy River, the main river in Myanmar, very beautiful and unforgettable historical bridge. ကိုလိုနီခေတ်မှာ အင်္ဂလိပ်တွေ ကိုယ်တိုင် တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့ပြီး သူတို့ ကိုယ်တိုင်ပဲ ပြန်လည် ဖျက်ဆီးပစ်ခဲ့တဲ့ သမိုင်းဝင် တံတားကြီး၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်းက အဓိက မြစ်ကြီး ဖြစ်တဲ့ ဧရာဝတီမြစ်ပေါ်မှာ ပထမဆုံး စတင် တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့တဲ့ သမိုင်းဝင် မြစ်ကူးတံတားကြီး၊ အင်မတန်လှပတဲ့ သမိုင်းဝင် တံတားကြီး ဒီလိုဂုဏ်ပုဒ်တွေနဲ့ ပြည့်စုံတဲ့ တံတားကြီးကတော့ အင်းဝတံတားလို့ ခေါ်တဲ့ စစ်ကိုင်းတံတားကြီးပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

It was once very famous and the most important for Myanmar, but now the famous Inwa Bridge has faded because the government has built a new Chinese-designed bridge next to it called the Irrawaddy Bridge (Yadaranpon). Now the famous bridge has to remain as an abandoned bridge.

တချိန်က အလွန်နာမည် ကျော်ကြားပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အတွက် အရေးအပါဆုံး ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပေမယ့် ခုအခါ သူ့နံဘေးမှာ ဧရာဝတီတံတား (ရတနာပုံ) ဆိုတဲ့ အမည်နဲ့ တရုတ်ဒီဇိုင်း တံတားအသစ် တစင်းကို အစိုးရက တည်ဆောက် လိုက်တာကြောင့် နာမည်ကျော်အင်းဝတံတားကြီးက ညှိုးမှိန်သွားခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ အခုချိန်မှာနာမည်ကျော်တံတားကြီးကတော့ ပစ်ပယ်ထားတဲ့ တံတားကြီး အဖြစ်နဲ့ ရှိနေရပါပြီ။

If you look up from this Inwa bridge, you can see Sagaing city in the west with its golden colour pagodas and the green Sagaing mountain. In the north, you can see the Shwe Kyet Yet, Shwe Kyat Kya Pagoda at the head of the Giant River. In the south, you can see the old town of Inwa, where Me Nu Brick Monastery is located.

ဒီ အင်းဝတံတားကြီးပေါ်ကနေ လှမ်းမျှော်ကြည့်လိုက်ရင် အနောက်ဘက်မှာ စစ်ကိုင်းမြို့ကြီးက ရွှေရောင်တောက်ပနေတဲ့ ဘုရား စေတီတွေနဲ့ အစိမ်း စစ်ကိုင်းတောင်ကြီးက ပနံရ လှပပါတယ်။ မြောက်ဘက်က ဧရာမြစ်နဖူးမှာ ရွှေကြက်ယက် ရွှေကြက်ကျဘုရားတို့ကို မြင်ရတယ်။ တောင်ဘက်မှာတော့ မယ်နုအုဌ်ကျောင်းရှိတဲ့ အင်းဝမြို့ဟောင်းကြီးကို မြင်တွေ့ရပါမယ်။

ဒါပေမယ့် တံတားကြီးပေါ် ကနေ အလှတရား တွေကို ကြည့်တတ်တဲ့ မျက်စိရှိသူ အရေအတွက်ကတော့ ပြည်တွင်းမှာ နည်းသွားပြီ။ ဒီနေ့အချိန်မှာ ဒီတံတားကြီးကို တန်ဖိုးထားပြီး လာရောက်ကြည့်ရှုသူ အများစုဟာ နိုင်ငံခြားသားတွေသာ ဖြစ်သွားပြီ။ သူတို့တွေက တံတားကြီးနဲ့ တွဲပြီး ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်တယ်။ တံတားကြီးရဲ့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်မှာ ကျန်ရှိနေသေးတဲ့ သမိုင်း အထောက်အထားတွေ၊ မှတ်တိုင်တွေ၊ ကျောက်စာတွေကို ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ယူကြတယ်။
