International thanksgiving service day three
I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ I am richly blessed from today's teaching.
This is day three of our international thanksgiving service and I learnt somuch in today's teaching I will be sharing with us what I learnt.
- 2 Timothy 4 : 3 The bible said that a time shall come when they will no longer listen to the true doctrine of Christ but that which they lust after, and also even the teachers will no longer teach the true doctrine of Christ but theirs. Here the bible says,for the time come when they will not endure sound doctrine bit after their own lust shall they heap themselves teachers having itching ears. It is very clear and understandable, let's not lust after things of the flesh nor things of the world.
2 Timothy 4 : 4 this verse is very clear, we are been warned about what will happen or rather what is happening in the last days that we are in. We are been thought that many will know the truth and turn away thier ears from it and the will give ears to falus teaching and prophecy so we must be wise to know the and stand by the true doctrines of the ture church of God.
James 1 : 12 in this verse I learnt that there is a reward for every man who endures temptation the bible says that the will receive a crown of life which has been promised unto them by the our heavenly father so we must understand that we should not give up our faith because we are going through our trying time we should always have this in mind that there is light at the end of every tunnel.
1 Peter 1 : 15 this verse is teaching us and making us understand that we must endeavour to be holy in every thing we do because he who has called us is holy so we must be also holy.
The bible says but as he which hath called you is holy, so be you holy in all manner conversions.
Zechariah 13 : 9 this verse made us understand that as a Christian the will be tried and we will go temptation but the bible has made us understand that it is just a stage that we shall pass through and when we call on his name he shall answer us and when he calls us we shall say the Lord is my God
