Life grid: does it exist? 🧐
Hello my dear friends! As I said a few days ago, 12 days before the Winter Solstice is a very auspicious period to take stock of the outgoing year and thank life for all the good things that have happened this year. When I thought about the past year, I came to the conclusion that this was the first year for me after my divorce, when I started to move forward. Before that, I was only trying to keep my house and my animals afloat.
Now, when I look back, I do not understand how I managed it ... But I did it. And now, in January of this year, I began to take confident steps towards establishing my new life.
First of all, I finally said goodbye to the idea that someday I could return to my old job. This is simply not possible physically, because my animals need constant monitoring. Then I decided to turn to my hobby - photography. I approached the question thoroughly by enrolling in a course at the Kiev School of Photography. After that I successfully completed two more courses: Photoshop and MixArt.
But here's what's interesting. Despite the fact that I have been engaged in another type of activity for a long time, many continue to consider me a lawyer, and not as a photographer ...
Having started to deal with the promotion of my new professional field, I found an interesting text. I suggest it below.
Enjoy reading!

The rapid alerting of all humankind to nuclear realities is supremely urgent. If we are wiped out by nuclear destruction in the next few years, how important are the things we are doing today?
The Hundredth Monkey (by Ken Keyes Jr.)
The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, has been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years.
In 1952, on the island of Koshima scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant.
An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers, too.
This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists.Between 1952 and 1958, all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable.Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.
Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes — the exact number is not known.Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes.Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.
THEN IT HAPPENED!
By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them. The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!
But notice. A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea —Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes!(Lifetide by Lyall Watson, pp. 147-148. Bantam Books 1980. This book gives other fascinating details.)
Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind.
Although the exact number may very, the Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the consciousness property of these people.
But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes-in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!
Thus, - I thought, - it should work in all directions! That is, if at least 100 people know me as a photographer, then the matter will get off the ground! I began to position myself as a photographer more confidently. And the miracle really happened. I got my first orders pretty quickly. It was as if the "lawyer" sign on my imaginary office had changed to a "photographer" sign. Then I tried it on my new blog. Indeed, as soon as the first 100 people found out about me, then their number began to increase geometrically. Then we tried it with my friend. She recently started her new career as a private teacher. Now there is no free time in her schedule!
This is really interesting. Of course, you need to make an effort so that the first 100 people know about you and what you are doing. Then it becomes more or less an automatic process. But I do not want to create the illusion that after that you can completely relax. What you are doing, you must at least continue to do well. I think that negative information is spread exactly according to this principle. 😉

This is such an interesting phenomenon. I'm also close to getting hundred followers here and I generally feel more confident with each picture I paint and with how long I've been doing this, so this is undoubtedly true. Also, it's nice knowing someone from the Ukrainian community. I live in vinnitsa :). I'm glad you found something that you love this year. Cheers🥂
