The friends present || Las amistades presentes [Esp/Eng]

El hecho de estar vivos, gozar de
buena salud física y mental ya es una gran motivación para estar bien, pero el hecho de poder celebrar otto año más sin duda alguna no se debe pasar por debajo de la mesa. En esta oportunidad mi amiga Sofía estaba cumpliendo 36 años y ese día le tocaba trabajar en un restaurante que se encuentra ubicado en una feria por lo que por lo regular cierran a las 9:00 pm, de paso cayó un día domingo por lo que ella no tenía muchos ánimos.

The fact that we are alive, physically and mentally healthy is already a great motivation to be well, but the fact of being able to celebrate another year should certainly not be passed under the table. On this occasion my friend Sofia was celebrating her 36th birthday and that day she had to work in a restaurant that is located in a fair, so they usually close at 9:00 pm, and it happened to fall on a Sunday so she was not in a very good mood.

El resto de las del grupo que solemos tener nos pusimos de acuerdo en ir hasta allá para compartir con ella y hacer algún consumo en el mismo lugar para no causar ningún inconveniente. Una de ellas hizo un quesillo para cantar cumpleaños ya que temprano vimos por sus estados que ya tenía una torta. Alrededor de las 5:00 pm llegamos al lugar y ella se agrado muchísimo de vernos, en el sitio no habían muchas personas por lo que pudimos sentarnos en una mesa sin ningún inconveniente. Pedimos una ronda de cerveza para pasar el rato mientras llegaban las otras dos amigas que estaban en una casa de playa.

The rest of the group that we usually have, we agreed to go there to share with her and do some drinking in the same place so as not to cause any inconvenience. One of them made a quesillo to sing a birthday song, as we saw early in the morning that she already had a cake. Around 5:00 pm we arrived at the place and she was very pleased to see us, there were not many people in the place so we could sit at a table without any inconvenience. We ordered a round of beer to pass the time while the other two friends who were in a beach house arrived.

Una vez que estuvimos todas nos pusimos a contarnos esas cosas que por msjs no podíamos, así nos pusimos al día y de paso nos reímos muchísimo. La cumpleañeras estaba muy feliz que eso era lo importante, de paso cada una le llevo un detalle y se sentía como niña consentida, porsupuesto se ánimo mas cuando llegó su mamá, su hermana, su sobrina y su hijo a unirse a compartir con ella, no se esperaba para nada todo lo que se le habia preparado, de hecho se cerró tarde el local por eso jajaja Muchas veces nuestros amigos pasan por situaciones que desconocemos pero cuando se quiere, se apoya y se está presente para hacer mas llevadera las cosas.Puedo decir que paso un cumpleaños feliz con todas sus letras y que nosotras más que satisfechas de estar allí y hacerlo posible.

Once we were all together we started to tell each other those things that we couldn't tell each other by text message, that way we could catch up and we laughed a lot. The birthday girl was very happy which was the important thing, by the way each one brought her a little something and she felt like a spoilt child, of course she was even happier when her mum, her sister, her niece and her son arrived to share with her, she didn't expect all that had been prepared for her, in fact the place closed late because of that hahaha Many times our friends go through situations that we don't know about but when you love them, you support them and you are present to make things more bearable. I can say that I had a happy birthday with all its letters and that we were more than satisfied to be there and make it possible.
