Homemade Plant-based Papaya Milk
When iced fruit is too boring for your day, plant-based milk can create a new sensation to enjoy fruit drinks.
Hi, Hive Lovers! I hope you guys are doing well and getting ready to fall in love with my newest simple recipe.
Well, speaking of the abundant supply of ripe fruits, it does create a new problem. If it is not used up soon, it will rot. Then comes a great sense of guilt for wasting food.
So when I had a stock of ripe papayas at home, I started to worry. My family members are also getting tired of eating this fruit. Then I thought about making papaya a drink menu.
I am very happy with the satisfactory result. It becomes a delicious fruit milk ice that is without added sweetener. The results of the documentation also made me fall in love. I hope you guys like my videos which I lovingly make for you to enjoy.
Stay tuned!
Iced Papaya Milk
Actually, this fruit milk ice drink is inspired by Korean-style strawberry milk that I often see on other social media. Then I got the idea to replace the strawberries with local fruit which I can easily get here even in abundance!
Well, since this is a plant-based milk version, you can use milk other than coconut milk. Use your favorite milk and I'm sure it will taste even better.
I really like coconut milk compared to almond milk, so I prefer coconut milk. You can use almond milk or soy milk.
The Ingredients
- Ripe papaya
- Coconut Milk
- Ice cubes (If you want the warm version, then skip these ingredients, and use warm coconut milk, which has been boiled).
How to Make
- Step 1
The important step is to make papaya into papaya puree. You don't need a blender or food processor to do that.
You just need to mash ripe papaya with a fork. The texture of ripe papaya will be very soft.
- Step 2
After finishing making papaya puree, then we can immediately prepare the ice in a serving glass.
First, add the milk to the serving glass.
- Step 3
Add ice cubes if you want to make a cold version. If you want to make a hot milk version, make the milk boil first.
- Step 4
- Step 5
