Curry Ramen by Ramen Me

On a scorching hot day even though it was almost five o'clock in the afternoon, a bowl of ramen had tantalized me. It didn't just tempt me because I'm not a ramen lover.

It was an accident that made me finally check out the ramen menu at a recommended outlet which I have repeated several times. The outlet is ”Sushi Me!”.

”Sushi Me!” Overview

That time I looked at the menu on ”Sushi Me!”. Initially I was planning to buy another sushi menu. But then because there was a discount of around $2 that I could get, I ended up adding a ramen menu to my food shopping cart.

”Sushi Me!” not only offers delicious sushi menus and fillings that are tailored to the taste buds of the people in my area here. ”Sushi Me!” also offers some promising looking ramen.

Because the menu offered by them is a ramen menu, they made a menu grouping which they named “Ramen Me!”. Quite unique.

The ramen offered by ”Sushi Me!” outlet consists of several types with different sauces including: Curry Ramen; Tamago Shio Ramen; Tori Shio Ramen; Tamago Jjigae Ramen.

I am a curry lover. Also, I don't want to try things that I won't like. I'm not that bold when it comes to ramen and sushi. So these reasons that ultimately led me to choose Curry Ramen.

Curry Ramen

The first appearance of Curry Ramen that fooled me, and made me even more curious to try this Curry Ramen. But before I tasted it of course I had to resist my urge to get good photos. Incidentally the sun was good this afternoon.

When Curry Ramen arrives, you can see the gravy being separated from the ramen noodles. The curry gravy is wrapped in plastic, while the noodles are served in a bowl with their branding.

The curry gravy on this ramen is very thick. It reminds me of peanut sauce noodles. Indeed, only the texture is the same, but the taste is very different.

The noodles are large, but quite soft and a little chewy. Then sprinkle with chopped scallions.

The Taste

About the taste is quite surprising which makes me smile happily. I can find another delicious ramen to suit my taste buds. The curry gravy is enough to give a strong taste like the strong taste of Indonesian food seasoning.

Indeed, curry gravy like this is less refreshing if you prefer a light and transparent type of gravy. We can try another variant of gravy that I mentioned earlier if we don't like this one, curry ramen.

The last, I really like the variant of this curry ramen. Managed to outwit me with the noodle texture as well as the gravy texture.

If usually I don't like big noodles because they lack taste, this time I actually like it because gravy is able to enhance the taste of this noodle to the deepest side of the noodle. I dare say this is super yummy! Recommended menu list to try it :)
