Adding More Value To Wood Materials

Not lasting long does not mean it is worthless.

I stopped by a place that has the concept of reviving wood materials. In this place, I learned many things, namely how to add value to wood materials.

When the trees are old and have to be cut down and then replanted with new trees, then here the use of wood is needed so that the wood that was cut from the tree can be used as well as possible and produce value for human life.

There are various types of wood that can be used for life, especially as furniture and accessories that complement various homes.

Including materials that come from bamboo tree trunks. Unfortunately, bamboo trunk material is quite fragile and not strong enough to withstand certain loads. So a combination of other materials is needed to add value to the bamboo trunks. Usually bamboo trunks are woven in a special shape so that they can produce the furniture or accessories needed.

In Indonesia itself, especially in the area where I live, bamboo trunks are usually woven to be used as cooking utensils in the kitchen and gardening equipment. But this time I saw something different for the first time, bamboo poles were woven into an interesting seat.

The bamboo poles are combined with iron material so that the bamboo poles become sturdy as a seat. I think this is brilliant. A great combination to create more value, especially to add utility and beauty value. Look at how this woven bamboo seat looks aesthetic and also beautifies the corner of the room that uses the seat.

On chairs with other models that have backrests, they can also be combined with iron material to strengthen their service life, especially so that the chair is more sturdy when used.

While on smaller woods, they can actually be formed into a small, sturdy one. With the natural texture of wood, it creates a unique beauty.

Wood material can also be used as small accessories for a collection of ornaments in the living room.

For a larger function, wood material can be used for a relaxing seat, both indoors and outdoors, such as a hut. Or it can be used as a place to store items.

A cottage can be added with detailed carvings, also forming carvings. So that it produces a beautiful value, especially if placed in an indoor room.

Doors or window leaves are made of wood. It's just combined with rich materials for a more modern and classy impression.

The last thing, I saw a blue door. With a classic design. In fact, even though it is made of wood, a modern impression can be created. That's cool!

Wood materials are also widely used in floor and ceiling coatings of buildings. This is intended to create a cooler atmosphere in hot areas. Especially in buildings that use zinc roofs.

Indeed, nature gives us many gifts, right? And it depends on how we are creative in utilizing materials from nature for something that can be used in life.
