Beginners Guide Splinterlands: Venari Wavesmith, Underrated? Wrecking Havoc in Bronze

Water Magic Splinter Deck is really good in Low Rank Legues which could dominate all types of Splinters depending on the right positioning and addition of monsters even using only the starter decks. But they are also vulnerable especially to monsters with snipe, sneak and oppurtunity ability which could counter magic most of the time in Bronze or Silver League. Magic monsters in starter decks mostly have low HP's. They could easily be pawned by backline attacking monsters.

With this weakness, I introduced to you the most underrated and hyped water splinter monsters which is Venari Wavesmith.

Banished from Below 3 of 5 - A massive race of rat-like people called venari have lived in the Strite for thousands of years. They are skilled technicians and mechanics who can make advanced devices and tools the likes of which Splinterlanders have never seen. The venari control powerful forms of magic that they have synthesized from the minerals and mana flows of the Strite. Through their complex field of science called smithing, they have been able to create and recreate many types of natural and magical phenomena from any magical element.

This monsters costs 5 mana to summon, has 1 magic attack, 2 speed and 3 HP at Level 1.

Offense because Venari Wavesmith will have 2 magic attack damage if your summon is Alric Stormbringer which gives +1 Magic attack to all friendly monsters. A great help for bursting down enemy tanks.

Defense because of his Ability, Protect. All friendly monster's gain +2 Armor. This ability is so overpowered against sneak, snipe or opputunity monsters which has melee or ranged attacks. It gives enough time for the magic attack to burst down the enemy tank, and next is victory.

Although this lineup will be countered especially in the silver league by Magic Reflecting Ability, or Monsters with Magic Resistance which you should be wary of. Make sure to scan your opponents previous fight if he has the counter for this lineup.

Anyways, Venari Wavesmith will be a great help to you when ranking in lower Leagues. Renting this card only cost 2.90 DEC as of this writing. Not bad for this DEC which could lead you to another rank and gain some DECs.

Final thoughts, play and try the game so you can experience the game because experience is the best teacher. You will learn gradually about positioning of monster and selection of additional monster aside from the monster shown above. You will also know or discover your own meta deck to counter Mylor or any other summoners. So, play splinterlands and do get experience and feel the thrill of this addictive game.
