[ESP-ENG] Bienvenidos a la celebración de la Semana Mayor // Welcome to the celebration of the Semana Mayor

La Semana Santa es una época del año en donde tradicionalmente se conmemora la muerte de Jesús el hijo de DIOS, en cada País como es normal se hace en forma particular o diferente de acuerdo a las costumbres y tradiciones religiosas. Al respecto es importante decir que cada célula cristiana evangélica recuerda o conmemora este hecho bíblico de una forma diferente según su creencia, así mismo los cristianos católicos se suman fervientemente a las misas, procesiones, Vía crusis como una forma de acción de gracias y de fe por el hijo de DIOS, el cual dio su vida por la salvación de la humanidad por todos los pecados cometidos; sin embargo al final la Semana Santa se resume a la creencia en algo divino y superior a nuestra vida, por lo cual realizamos actividades que agraden a este divino celestial que nos acompaña en todo momento sin discriminación ni exclusión; pues el amor divino de DIOS es el mas puro y sagrado.

Holy Week is a time of the year where traditionally the death of Jesus the son of GOD is commemorated, in each country as usual it is done in a particular or different way according to the customs and religious traditions. In this regard it is important to say that each evangelical Christian cell remembers or commemorates this biblical event in a different way according to their belief, likewise Catholic Christians fervently join the masses, processions, Via Crusis as a form of thanksgiving and faith for the son of GOD, who gave his life for the salvation of humanity for all the sins committed; however in the end the Holy Week is summarized to the belief in something divine and superior to our life, so we perform activities that please this divine heavenly that accompanies us at all times without discrimination or exclusion, because the divine love of GOD is the most pure and sacred.

Como es costumbre la Semana Santa sirve para que las personas en unión familiar conmemoren la muerte y resurrección de Jesús de Nazaret, y por tanto se da una semana de asueto de Semana Santa a nivel escolar y laboral, de esta forma pueden acudir a los templos y lugares en donde fortalecen su fe y agradecen por sus vidas y el bienestar común. Por otro lado para muchos significa días para compartir en familia, viajar a otros lugares como playas, ríos, posadas y disfrutar a plenitud sin dejar de lado la costumbre de visitar los templos o casas de DIOS, comer pescado y realizar una oración en familia de bendición, agradecimiento o petición.

As it is customary, Holy Week serves for people in family union to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, and therefore there is a week off from school and work, so they can go to the temples and places where they strengthen their faith and give thanks for their lives and common welfare. On the other hand, for many it means days to share with the family, travel to other places such as beaches, rivers, inns and enjoy to the fullest without leaving aside the custom of visiting the temples or houses of GOD, eat fish and make a family prayer of blessing, thanksgiving or petition.

En Semana Santa también se acostumbra la elaboración del "CUAJADO", comida típica de esta época del año este es parecido a un pasticho en donde se utilizan ingredientes tales como: Huevos, papa frita, plátano frito, batata frita, guiso de pescado y la ralladura de queso parmesano o queso blanco entre otros, los cuales van colocados en capas en una bandeja, este resulta un exquisito manjar, el cual se puede acompañar con caraotas negras y arroz blanco.

During Holy Week it is also customary to prepare "CUAJADO", a typical food of this time of the year, which is similar to a pasticho where ingredients such as eggs, fried potatoes, fried plantain, fried sweet potato, fish stew and grated Parmesan or white cheese among others are used, which are placed in layers on a tray, this is an exquisite delicacy, which can be accompanied with black beans and white rice.

En esta semana también acostumbramos a realizar dulces de lechosa, turrón de coco, arroz con leche, besos de coco, dulce de plátano, buñuelos de yuca dulce, entre otros, los cuales acostumbramos a hacer en familia, para celebrar este encuentro de fe y devoción.

During this week we also use to make milky sweets, coconut nougat, rice pudding, coconut kisses, banana candy, sweet yucca fritters, among others, which we use to make as a family, to celebrate this meeting of faith and devotion.

La Semana Santa es una semana de reflexión, de amor hacia el prójimo, de vivir y convivir con otros practicando buenas costumbres y valores éticos y morales; de entender que el Vía crusis de Jesús el hijo de DIOS, lo debemos de ver como la forma en que cada cristiano debe dejar morir malas acciones, malos hábitos, malas costumbres y resucitar como un hombre o una mujer renovada y renovado de corazón limpio y liviano capaz de amar y dejar amar de la forma mas pura, para que cada una y cada uno se convierta en el mejor ciudadano, con la convicción de que Jesús el hijo de DIOS siempre intervendrá, para que alcancemos la plenitud como hijos e hijas de DIOS.

Holy Week is a week of reflection, of love towards our neighbor, of living and coexisting with others practicing good habits and ethical and moral values; to understand that the Via Crucis of Jesus the son of GOD, we must see it as the way in which each Christian must let die bad actions, bad habits, bad habits and resurrect as a renewed man or woman with a clean and light heart capable of loving and letting love in the purest way, so that each and every one becomes the best citizen, with the conviction that Jesus the son of GOD will always intervene, so that we reach the fullness as sons and daughters of GOD.

Para terminar este gran post quiero que sepan que para mi y toda mi familia al igual que la Navidad, la Semana Santa es una de las épocas mas bonitas y esperadas del año; porque aquí podemos vivenciar todo el amor que DIOS nuestro señor nos tiene; ya que envió a su único hijo a morir en la cruz por nosotros para redimir nuestros pecados. Cabe destacar que aunque ahorita me encuentro de reposo por mi problema de salud fui invitada por mis compañeras de trabajo a presenciar el Vía crusis institucional de los niños y niñas del C.E.I Morichal "La Gran Victoria"; sin duda alguna una excelente actividad; donde los niños y niñas demostraron su gran talento actoral.

To finish this great post I want you to know that for me and my whole family as well as Christmas, Easter is one of the most beautiful and expected times of the year; because here we can experience all the love that GOD our Lord has for us; since he sent his only son to die on the cross for us to redeem our sins. It is worth mentioning that although I am currently resting due to my health problem, I was invited by my coworkers to witness the institutional Via Crucis of the children of the C.E.I Morichal "La Gran Victoria"; without a doubt an excellent activity, where the children demonstrated their great acting talent.
