This adventure began at approximately 9:00 am, where we asked for an Uber to take us to this park, which is located approximately 35 or 40 minutes from Bogota, in the municipality of Tocancipa. Because of the distance, I thought the Uber would be a bit expensive, but it was not, it was very cheap. When we arrived, we made a small line to buy tickets and a map, because the place is quite big and has a great variety of attractions, so it is impossible to get bored.

In this huge place there are typical amusement park attractions, a train that gives you a tour of the entire park, a zoo that houses a lot of animals, from tigers, foxes to a hippo, restaurants and souvenir stores. But, for me, its main attraction is the replica of the Taj Mahal, and it is my favorite. Inside is an amazing museum, that day I went, unfortunately there was no access, but researching I have seen some pictures and it is very beautiful. You can also see, in the images, a hand holding a sphere, and it is a Monument to God, and its meaning is an offering to God and represents his hand holding the planet.

Located near the replica of the Taj Mahal, is the Avianca Airplane HK136, with which Pilot Jaime Duque Grisales inaugurated Colombia's international air routes. I was also in a pirate ship, where they teach you a little of some relevant naval events in the history of Colombia. It also has a small castle called “The fantasy of the thousand and one nights”, where you enter and they give you a mini boat ride, while they tell you stories like Ali Baba and the 40 thieves and Cinderella.

I think it's a spectacular place, where, in addition to having fun and spending time with the family, you also learn many things about the history of Colombia. Something that I loved was to see how they took children from different schools on excursions, because it seems to me that, for them, it is a very nice experience. So, without a doubt, I would go again, because we had to go to the hotel at 3:00 pm and we still missed some things to do, but I recommend it 100%.

Hola, querida comunidad amante de los viajes, espero hayan tenido una excelente semana. En esta oportunidad les quiero contar sobre mi experiencia visitando el Parque Jaime Duque en Bogotá.

Esta aventura inició aproximadamente a las 9:00 am, donde pedimos un Uber que nos trasladaría a este Parque, el cual está ubicado aproximadamente a 35 o 40 minutos de Bogotá, en el municipio de Tocancipá. Por la distancia, pensé que el Uber saldría un poco costoso, pero no fue así, fue muy barato. Al llegar, compramos los tickets y un mapa, porque el lugar es bastante grande y tiene una gran variedad de atracciones, así que es imposible aburrirse.

En este enorme lugar hay atracciones típicas de parques de diversiones, un tren que te da un recorrido por todo el parque, un zoológico que alberga una gran cantidad de animales, desde tigres, zorros hasta un hipopótamo, restaurantes y tiendas de souvenirs. Pero, para mí, su principal atractivo es la réplica del Taj Mahal, y es mi favorita. Por dentro es un museo increíble, ese día que fui, lamentablemente no había acceso, pero investigando he visto algunas imágenes y es muy hermoso. También se puede ver, en las imágenes, una mano sosteniendo una esfera, y es un Monumento a Dios, y su significado es una ofrenda a Dios y representa su mano sosteniendo al planeta.

Cerca de la réplica del Taj Mahal, está el Avión HK136 de Avianca, con el cual el Piloto Jaime Duque Grisales inauguró las rutas aéreas internacionales de Colombia. También estuve en un barco pirata, donde te enseñan un poco de algunos eventos navales relevantes en la historia de Colombia. Además, posee un pequeño Castillo llamado "La fantasía de las mil y una noches", en el cual entras y te dan un mini paseo en bote, mientras te narran cuentos como Alí Babá y los 40 ladrones y la Cenicienta.

Me parece que es un lugar espectacular, donde, además de divertirte y pasar tiempo en familia, también aprendes muchas cosas de la historia de Colombia. Algo que me encantó es ver cómo llevaban de excursión a niños de diferentes colegios, porque me parece que, para ellos, es una experiencia muy bonita. Así que, sin duda, volvería a ir, porque nos tuvimos que ir al hotel a las 3:00 pm y aún nos faltaron cosas por recorrer, pero lo recomiendo al 100%.
