Hoy vengo a contarles como es que conocimos un nuevo lugar muy cerca de nuestra zona que es todo un verdadero emprendimiento gastronómico y el cual se los súpeeeer recomiendo porque está divino 😍🤤

Today I come to tell you how we met a new place very close to our area that is a real gastronomic venture and which I highly recommend because it's divine 😍🤤

Luego de un largo día de diligencias y mucho trabajo decidimos buscar comer algo rico y sencillo, entonces fuimos a buscar unos ricos tequeños en un negocio que ya conocíamos desde hace un tiempo que queda súper cerca de nuestra zona en Tipuro, Maturín. Edo. Monagas.

After a long day of errands and a lot of work we decided to look for something delicious and simple to eat, so we went to look for some delicious tequeños in a business that we already knew for some time that is super close to our area in Tipuro, Maturin. Monagas state.

Al llegar nos dimos cuenta de que seguían vendiendo los tequeños, pero además había cambiado el nombre del negocio y estaba ofreciendo una variedad más amplia de comidas nocturnas, lo cual nos llamó bastante la atención, son los mismos dueños pero con otra propuesta, y pensamos "vamos a ver que se trata".

When we arrived we realized that they were still selling the tequeños, but they had also changed the name of the business and were offering a wider variety of night meals, which caught our attention, they are the same owners but with another proposal, and we thought "let's see what it is".

Siguen vendiendo sus deliciosos tequeños y empanadas de día, pero en la noche ofrecen, pinchos, pepitos y la revelación de la noche, que son unas papas fritas inspiradas en las famosas papas fritas estilo Ámsterdam de Países Bajos (Holanda).

They still sell their delicious tequeños and empanadas during the day, but at night they offer pinchos, pepitos and the revelation of the night, which are fries inspired by the famous Amsterdam style fries from the Netherlands (Holland).

Ahora le cuento mi experiencia sobre estas papas, al llegar observe el pendón del negocio que las promociona y ver que dice "cono de papas Ámsterdam" primera vez que veía ese nombre y me llamó mucho la atención, mi novio entró a pedir los tequeños que yo quería comer y le dije que preguntara por esos conos papas para ver que tal eran y si pedíamos uno para probarlo.

Now I tell you my experience about these fries, when I arrived I saw the banner of the business that promotes them and saw that it says "cono de papas Amsterdam" first time I saw that name and it caught my attention, my boyfriend came in to order the tequeños that I wanted to eat and I told him to ask for those conos papas to see how they were and if we ordered one to try it.

Él sale y me comenta que hay dos presentaciones, una en cono que es una presentación individual que cuenta $5 y otra en canoa que cuesta $6.5 y es para dos personas, entonces preferimos pedir la presentación en canoa para compartir.

He comes out and tells me that there are two presentations, one in cone which is an individual presentation that costs $5 and another in canoe that costs $6.5 and is for two people, so we prefer to order the presentation in canoe to share.

Luego el chico que nos estaba atendiendo quien es el mismo creador de todo este concepto nos pregunta que con que las vamos a querer si con carne, pollo, tocineta o chorizo (En eso yo pensé "ah no esto debe ser como las papas rústicas de cualquier otro sitio") las papas rústicas son un plato de papas fritas que viene con carne, pollo o chorizo tipo a la parrilla sobre las papas y le agregan queso amarillo y salsas, son muy comunes en los puestos de comida de la zona y yo pensé que estas papas en canoa era algo similar, pero estaba bien alejada de la realidad jeje. Todo empezó a cambiar en mi mente cuando este mismo chico (súper atento y amable por cierto) nos pregunta si nos gusta el Guacamole 🤔🤔 yo dije ¿"Guacamole con papas y carne"? Pero como me gusta experimentar dijimos que si de inmediato y la verdad es que fue la mejor decisión.

Then the guy who was serving us, who is the same creator of this whole concept, asked us what we would like them with: meat, chicken, bacon or chorizo (I thought "oh no, this must be like the rustic fries of any other place") the rustic fries are a plate of fries that comes with meat, chicken or chorizo type grilled over the potatoes and they add yellow cheese and sauces, they are very common in the food stalls in the area and I thought that these canoe fries were something similar, but I was far away from reality hehe. Everything started to change in my mind when this same guy (super attentive and kind by the way) asked us if we like Guacamole 🤔🤔 and I said "Guacamole with potatoes and meat"? But as I like to experiment we said yes immediately and the truth is that it was the best decision.

Cuando llegaron esas papas mi primera sorpresa fue ver que se trata de carne mechada 😱 o sea PAPAS FRITAS CON CARNE MECHADA jajajaja y no solo era cualquier carne mechada, esta carne tiene un sabor casero divinooooo que no se imaginan, además también traía el Guacamole que nos había ofrecido, Guasacaca, salsa BBQ, mayonesa, salsa de tomate y queso amarillo. Escribo todo esto y pienso que si alguien me habla del plato antes de haberlo probado sería súper intrigante para mi, pero yo que ya tuve la oportunidad de probarlo les digo que nunca había probado una combinación tan inusual y deliciosa a la vez, en serio que es DELICIOSA 🤤🤤.

When those potatoes arrived my first surprise was to see that it was larded meat 😱 or FRIED FRIES WITH LAMBED MEAT hahahaha and it was not just any larded meat, this meat has a divine homemade flavor that you can not imagine, it also had the Guacamole that he had offered us, Guasacaca, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, tomato sauce and yellow cheese. I write all this and I think that if someone tells me about the dish before I have tried it, it would be super intriguing for me, but I already had the opportunity to try it and I tell you that I had never tasted such an unusual and delicious combination at the same time, seriously it is DELICIOUS 🤤🤤.

Al ver y probar todo esto no se me ocurrió otra cosa que preguntar de donde había surgido este plato, ¿cómo se le había ocurrido? Fue cuando me comentó que se había inspirado en las papas fritas de Ámsterdam, que allá las venden así en conos con toppings variados, solo que él le agrego un sabor criollo como es el de la carne mechada y creó sus propias papas. ¡Un Genio!

When I saw and tasted all this, I could not think of anything else but to ask where this dish had come from, how did he come up with it? It was when he told me that he had been inspired by the Amsterdam fries, which are sold there in cones with various toppings, only that he added a Creole flavor such as larded meat and created his own fries. A genius!

Este chico apenas está comenzando su negocio, pero tiene mucho futuro en esto y estoy segura de que cuando más personas prueben esta delicia les va a encantar y muchos incluso querrán copiárselo, pero será difícil ganarle a estos sabores que él ofrece.

This guy is just starting his business, but he has a great future in this and I am sure that when more people try this delicacy they will love it and many will even want to copy him, but it will be hard to beat these flavors that he offers.
