Alone For The First Time
It's my first time to sleep in a hotel alone. Well, technically the room I booked is not the usual room. It's more like a "capsule room". Where a small but spacious room is stacked upon each other. Like a beehive!
Here's what it looks like:
Kinda cramped, but it was kinda spacious too. Also, the air conditioner is placed on the far left so... bunks that are far from it can't fully feel the coldness of its air! But that's okay. There's a fan in front of me that gives me the right amount of coolness.
And here I am currently! All cozy in my little room, alone. You could see that its at the moment pic cause I'm literally writing this blog right now. LOL.
Currently, I'm the only one here right now. Being alone in a hotel, or any room, is a bit scary to me because I've never done this before. But it made me realize a little bit of "peace". It made me feel I'm independent. That I can have a time off with myself.
So why are you here right now, Anarkia?
Well, to sum things up, I got fed up with my family. Something happened last night, and it got me depressed af. It took a toll on my mind and heart that if I'm going to stay in this house for one more minute, I'm gonna kill myself.
But chill, I didn't. So I opted to pack some of my stuff up and decided to leave home for a couple of days.
To you know, breathe a little.

Well, if you go to their FB page, and send a message to their messenger, their Capsule Room rate is 500. But! I downloaded Agoda, and its waaaaay more cheaper. The price got a bit more cheaper since I was a new user to the app. 😄 So, in total, I paid 390 for a night here. 😁
I totally agree on that. It's my first time to actually do this when I'm feeling fed up and depressed. Kinda feels good to be alone sometimes.

Yep! Though it would have been better if this was a beach. I'd feel more at ease because of the waves. BUT damn beaches are too crowded. No peace on that. 😂
But being alone in a small room is good enough. It gives me a time off to think stuff out.

you remind me of myself, ahahaha I left home for 6 months because I too was fed up with my family's toxicity I say you are making good decisions about it, for mental health!
IKR? I think here in Davao City, there are only a few hotels that have this type of room. I think if I could count it off, it would come down to less then five establishments. 😮
I messaged their FB page, and they gave me their room rates. The Capsule Room costs Php500. Knowing me, a cheap ass mofo sometimes, I got a little skeptic, because in Agoda, it only costs Php300+. So yep, I chose to book in Agoda instead. The price got a little cheaper because I was a new user to the app. So, all in all, I only paid Php390 for a night in this room. It's a good trade! Saved much money. 😁
Dude, if I could've had the finances to do that, I would've done it a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. But of course, I just landed on a good paying company, and non toxic work environment, so me leaving home would probably be possible now. BUT, then again, expenses. I need to save enough money before I go living off on my own. I still got damn bills to pay. LOL.
Thankies! It was cooling my mental health off for a sec. I didn't regret doing this kind of thing. I know that I still have to go back at that house, but at least, I have the option to do stuff like this for the moment. Until I get to have my own room/apt.
