[ES-EN] Mi sesión de fotos embarazada // My pregnant photo session

Espero estén bien y que este viernes sea de muchos éxitos, permitiéndoles terminar una bendecida semana de trabajo. Aprovecho la madrugada para escribir este post, aunque de seguro lo podré publicar en el transcurso del día.
Esta semana ha sido de recuerdos y como nunca les he traído nada sobre mi embarazo, esta vez les compartiré una sesión de fotos que hicimos cuando estaba a punto de dar a luz.
I hope you are well and that this Friday is a successful one, allowing you to finish a blessed week of work. I am taking advantage of the early morning to write this post, although I am sure I will be able to publish it during the course of the day.
This week has been one of memories and since I have never brought you anything about my pregnancy, this time I will share with you a photo shoot we did when I was about to give birth.
Siempre me ha gustado la fotografía, pero la parte de modelo nunca ha sido mi fuerte. Yo generalmente tomo las fotos y no aparezco en ellas. Cuando voy a buscar fotos mías en la galería son prácticamente inexistentes, mientras que hay un montón de paisajes, flores, situaciones y mi familia y amigos, sin mi, porque estoy detrás de la cámara.
Como estar embarazada es un periodo corto de tiempo quería dejar un recuerdo lindo para poder ser visto después. En esa época ya estaban muy de moda las sesiones de foto y quise hacer uno.
I've always loved photography, but the modeling part has never been my forte. I generally take the photos and don't appear in them. When I go to look for pictures of me in the gallery they are practically non-existent, while there are a lot of landscapes, flowers, situations and my family and friends, without me, because I am behind the camera.
Since being pregnant is a short period of time I wanted to leave a nice memory to be able to be seen later. At that time photo shoots were already very fashionable and I wanted to do one.
Solo que no contaba con el dinero para pagar un profesional, así que le comenté la idea a mis cuñadas y a mi exmarido para que hiciéramos algo entre nosotros. De inmediato hubo varias opciones de lugares propuestos.
La mayoría de las opciones fueron ríos, porque estábamos en verano y la ocasión era perfecta. A mi me pareció excelente y como no conocía los lugares dejé que ellos decidieran lo que les pareciera mejor.
I just didn't have the money to pay for a professional, so I told my sisters-in-law and my ex-husband about the idea so that we could do something between us. Immediately there were several options of proposed locations.
Most of the options were rivers, because we were in summer and the occasion was perfect. I thought it was excellent and since I didn't know the places I let them decide what they thought was best.
Había leído que las sesiones fotográficas de embarazo se hacen unas semanas antes de la fecha prevista de parto para evitar que la mujer estuviese muy hinchada, algo natural de los últimos días de gestación. Se pasaban los días y no combinábamos una fecha para realizarlo.
Como todos trabajamos tenía que ser un fin de semana. Cuando ya pensaba que no iría hacerlo todo se alineó para planificar nuestra salida familiar con sesión de fotos.
I had read that pregnancy photo sessions are done a few weeks before the due date to avoid the woman being too swollen, something natural in the last days of pregnancy. The days went by and we did not find a date to do it.
Since we were all working, it had to be a weekend. When I thought I was not going to make it, everything lined up to plan our family outing with a photo session.
Fuimos a un río en el municipio de Ipuaçu, que es vecino del municipio donde vivo. Primero fuimos a una parte del río que era sólo playa, no había un lugar bonito donde tomar fotos y por la hora a la que habíamos ido el sol no iba a favorecer mucho la iluminación.
Cuando llegamos ahí inmediatamente decidimos ir a otra parte del mismo río que uno de mis cuñados conocía y que es un lugar privado, pero él conocía al dueño.
We went to a river in the municipality of Ipuaçu, which is a neighbor of the municipality where I live. First we went to a part of the river that was only beach, there was not a nice place to take pictures and because of the time we had gone there the sun was not going to favor the illumination very much.
When we got there we immediately decided to go to another part of the same river that one of my brother-in-laws knew and that is a private place, but he knew the owner.
Esta parte del río era totalmente diferente a la anterior, era toda con piedras. Me pareció muy linda cuando la vi. Al llegar comenzamos a buscar el mejor lugar para tomar las fotos y para eso fuimos atravesando el río, pasando por piedras que eran un poco resbaladizas. Yo iba con mucho cuidado para no caerme.
This part of the river was totally different from the previous one, it was all pebbles. I thought it was very nice when I saw it. When we got there we started to look for the best place to take pictures and for that we went across the river, passing by stones that were a bit slippery. I was very careful not to fall.
Después de ubicar el lugar donde tomaríamos las fotos, comenzamos la sesión. Las fotos las tomamos desde mi motorola G7 y fue una de mis cuñadas la responsable.
La calidad de las fotos no es tan buena y en parte creo que es porque a la hora que decidimos ir para allá había mucho sol, por lo que la iluminación de las fotos es muy fuerte. Aquí les comparto las que creo fueron las mejores fotos que se tomaron ese día.
After locating the place where we would take the pictures, we started the session. The photos were taken from my motorola G7 and one of my sister-in-laws was responsible.
The quality of the photos is not so good and I think it is partly because at the time we decided to go there there was a lot of sun, so the lighting of the photos is very strong. Here I share with you what I think were the best pictures taken that day.
