The Latte Art
When you enjoy a cup of coffee latte at the coffee shop, you will get a coffee latte that is very eye-catching. This special decoration that beautifies the eyes is called latte art.
When the barista makes it at the coffee bar, we will be amazed that he makes it. How easily these baristas decorate coffee with milk in such a way.
Not infrequently, we deliberately wait for this barista to make our coffee latte order so that we can witness the process of making the latte art served in our cups. Where we can see how the barista is capable, and uses a very deep feeling to bend the flow of milk into a coffee cup so that a picture or painting is formed that is so incredibly beautiful.
Coffee and milk have been consumed since ancient times. However, with the development of the times, coffee connoisseurs want something new about coffee and its blends which makes coffee providers seem to be forced to participate in developing to meet these demands.
One of these developments is manifested in the form of decoration in a glass filled with coffee which is then mixed with milk and shaped with a shape or form like a painting called Latte Art.
Why? Because latte art is not born from just pouring milk into espresso. Latte art occurs because of the help of milk which is heated with a steamer or frother and forms microfoam. The presence of this microfoam changes the characteristics of ordinary liquid milk. In scientific language this process is called denaturation. Milk consists of fat, sugar and protein. When milk is evaporated, the fat breaks down and breaks down the sugar in it and makes the milk taste sweeter. Well, the milk that has produced the microfoam is what the barista pours into the espresso and can be shaped into various designs in latte art.
Each of the baristas seemed to be competing to hone their skills to be able to form such interesting painting images.
And something fun when we can see firsthand how they bend their hands while adjusting the flow of milk to form an image and then the glass is served in front of us. In fact, it is not uncommon for us to feel reluctant to destroy the beauty of the latte art painting.
