Artistic Makeup: Wooden doll

Una nueva semana para ponernos creativos, así que decidí realizar un maquillaje artístico inspirado en una muñeca de madera.

A new week to get creative, so I decided to make an artistic makeup inspired by a wooden doll.

Proceso | Process

Primero, se prepara la piel con crema hidratante y luego aplicamos base de maquillaje, rubor y polvo compacto.

First, The skin is prepared with moisturizer and then foundation, blush and pressed powder are applied.

La mirada. Se maquilla el párpado superior con sombra salmón, luego aplico sombra marrón en la mitad externa del ojo, para seguidamente con una brochita difuminadora aplicar sombra marrón en la cuenca del ojo.

The look. The upper eyelid is made up with salmon shadow, then I apply brown shadow on the outer half of the eye, and then with a smudger brush I apply brown shadow in the eye socket.

En la línea de agua se realiza un delineado en tono blanco. Y con marrón realizamos un sutil delineado que parte de la línea de pestañas inferior. Para definir y oscurecer mis cejas uso un tono marrón oscuro. Y por último se aplica máscara de pestañas.

In the water line we make a white eyeliner. And with brown we make a subtle eyeliner starting from the lower lash line. To define and darken my eyebrows I use a dark brown tone. And finally mascara is applied.

Con sombra marrón y una brochita difuminadora se hace un perfilado de nariz. E iniciamos el maquillaje para simular la madera, con un pincel fino y maquillaje en crema marrón se dibujan suavemente y difumina el trazo las betas de la madera para que parezca parte de la piel.

With brown shadow and a blending brush we make a nose outline. And we start the make-up to simulate the wood, with a fine brush and brown cream make-up we draw softly and blur the outline of the wood to make it look like part of the skin.

Para finalizar, maquillo mis labios delineando con marrón y relleno con un labial nude. En los extremos de la barbilla dibujo dos líneas negras para referir a la articulación de la boca.

To finish, I outline my lips with brown and fill in with a nude lipstick. At the ends of the chin I draw two black lines to refer to the articulation of the mouth.
