A Random Life Reflection.

Life is such a teacher; it teaches you every day that you're alive, consciously or subconsciously, and it's left for the wise to pick a thing or two from experiences they've encountered.

Life is a journey, and as we all know, travelling on a very long journey, especially by road, requires patience, perseverance and a positive mindset as everyone will surely get to their destination at some point in time, no matter the traffic jams, bad roads, or other factors delaying them.

So too, we can liken our phase in life to a journey and avoid being in competition or comparison with the other person; some join the bus before us, while others alight before us, but we all get to where we are headed.

No matter what we are facing in life, a time will come when everything will fall into place. It's just a matter of time.

Some get married before us and vice versa, some ride cars before us, some own a house before us, and some travel all around before we do, but a simple reminder that delay is not denial.

Every time we feel stuck in life, we must learn to distract ourselves from the boring journey and look for ways to improve ourselves by not focusing on the negative but looking ahead to the positive.

Our situation sometimes affects the kind of people we meet in our lives; it also shows who is real and who is not. Just like seasons, some people come into our lives, stay for a moment, and then leave us, while others are ready to stick with us till the end.

Some are only in for what they can get out of you and your situation, and when they are done, they leave you hanging in the middle of nowhere.

While some will just come into your life to keep tabs on how better they are doing than you are, some will even belittle you, but don't let all of that bring you down.

Every time you come into contact with the wrong people, use it as an avenue to discover who you are and let it trigger you to be better than who you were yesterday. It's always lonely trying to get to the top.

However, if you find people who truly care for you and are ready to stick by you even though they know your weakness, these are the real ones. Keep them so dear, and never let pride and ego get in the way.

The least you can do for yourself is to keep yourself happy and always be intentional about your growth. So long as you've been clapping for those who have been getting to the top, someday you too will get there. Like my sister would say, "Congratulations will go around." Don't give up yet; you're one step closer to your dreams! ❤
