I don't get angry easily that I am very sure of. Infact I can handle just anybody no matter how annoying or difficult the person is.

The person most people couldn't work with peacefully at work most times end up being
good friend of mine just a week of working with them. That is to show you how accommodating and understanding I can be. No matter how bad one is, I chose to find and work with the good side of the person. However this does not imply that I take just about anything from anybody.

BETRAYAL that is one thing that will make me so angry with someone. For someone to be able to betray me that means I must have trusted that person to an extent.

Take for instance,I was trying so hard to close a sale and I found out that my friend( a colleague) went behind my back to talk to my prospect in the bid to close the sale herself.

I was furious! not just angry and believe me she felt the heat.

She apologised again and again.

It was real and I able to forgive her.

APOLOGIES can pacify me, when they are real and not fake.

I remembered being angry at my friend Nkem. I felt that she betrayed our friendship and I was mad at her for days. She explained why she took that action but I wasn't ready to listen but later I pondered on the whole thing and realized that she was actually looking out for me.

Some actions are necessary even if it might hurt us or our ego. Realising this was able to pacify me and I apologised for being angry for days.

Then again, there are some kinds of betrayals that the only way I can find peace and be pacified is by deleting them from my life.

So I block them from all social media platforms and block them from having access to my life. If they can't access me they can't make me angry no more.

So I block em some more and have my peace.

And that doesn't mean that we don't say hi to each other whenever we meet. We say hi and move on.

It's better that way.

Wow...what a nice read @amiableamara. Everyone is permitted to be angry cos we are all humans. However, it hurts when a close friend betrays you, but then once I notice a sincere apology and not a casual one just to fulfill all righteousness, I forgive immediately.

Betrayal is the worst, I also get so made when someone betrays my trust. It means I can never trust that person again no matter how he/she begs.

You have every reason to get angry when a close friend betrays you

I think most people have the same reaction to betrayal because like you said, the only people that can betray us are people we Trust.

Once they break that trust through their betrayal, it's always hard trust them again
