Model Kit Review, 1/72 Scale Junkers JU-86 D1

Hello, hivers and toy enthusiasts!

For today's post, I bring you another one of my model kit review videos.

This video is a review of the 1/72 scale model kit for a Junkers JU-86 D1 German bomber. This kit was produced by Italaerei. This is another kit that was bought on the secondary market on Ebay. This particular model has been in production since the early 1970s, and as far as I can determine, this particular box version is either the first issue in 1973, or the re-box that came out in 1976. The box art is pretty much the same between them. There have been a lot of changes to the box art over the years, and in 1980, the spelling of the company name changed from "Italaerei" to "Italeri".

The JU-86 was designed and built in the early 1930s as a passenger airplane and also as a bomber. The passenger version was capable of carrying 10 passengers. The bomber version was first tested in action by the Condor Legion during the Spanish civil war. By 1940, the airplane was deemed as obsolete, being inferior to the Heinkel HE-111 bomber. A later high altitude reconnaissance version of the JU-86 was developed during WW2. Most of the earlier versions were relegated to training duties by 1940.

Here is the video of the kit review. The video is about 9 and a half minutes long.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my video! I hope you found it interesting!

@eii(5/10) gave you LUV. H-E tools | connect | <><

LUV in the dark? The confirmation-reply may soon be turned off. This would be to conserve and replenish Resource Credits. Even while operating in the dark, your LUV command will still go through as usual. You can always monitor LUV in your wallet, at explorer A or at explorer B, or best, in real time at the luv-log channel on Discord.
