Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, es un placer para mí estar una vez más con ustedes compartiendo canciones y melodías. La temática de esta semana es “Never Give Up” y creo que eso es maravilloso porque si algo me ha enseñado la música es a no rendirme jamás. Para esta ocasión quiero traerles una canción que creo tiene todo que ver con esta temática, se trata de “Barro tal vez” compuesta por el grandioso e inolvidable músico argentino Luis Alberto Spinetta, en el año 1982.

Esta canción tiene una letra muy poderosa, nos habla de lo fuerte que pueden ser nuestras convicciones, las cosas que amamos y en las que creemos y que trascienden incluso por encima de nuestra vida física. Una de sus frases reza: He de gritarle a los vientos hasta reventar Aunque solo quede tiempo en mi lugar. Y creo que de eso se trata, de gritar hasta reventar, de vivir hasta reventar, de poner el pecho y enfrentarnos a los que sea.

Espero les guste esta humilde interpretación instrumental, me emociona mucho tocarla porque siempre había querido tocar esta canción y no me había dado el tiempo, gracias a open mic nos hemos encontrado místicamente en las cuerdas de mi guitarra.

A friendly greeting dear Hivers, it is a pleasure for me to once again be with you sharing songs and tunes. This week's theme is "Never Give Up" and I think that's wonderful because if music has taught me anything it's to never give up. For this occasion I want to bring you a song that I think has everything to do with this theme, it is "Barro tal vez" composed by the great and unforgettable Argentine musician Luis Alberto Spinetta, in 1982.

This song has very powerful lyrics, it talks about how strong our convictions can be, the things we love and believe in that transcend even beyond our physical life. One of its phrases reads: I've got to shout to the winds until I burst even if there's only time left in my place. And I think that's what it's all about, to shout until we burst, to live until we burst, to put our chest out and face whoever it may be.

I hope you like this humble instrumental interpretation, I am very excited to play it because I had always wanted to play this song and had not given me the time, thanks to open mic we have met mystically on the strings of my guitar.
