Coffee and the sweet life.

Friendly greetings dear Hivers, especially to coffee lovers. This week started out pretty rough, I've had a bad flu and also the power outages have been very stressful. Of course all of this is made more supportive with a good dose of coffee.

There are many theories about whether coffee has important nutrients for the body or if it simply inhibits the brain from feeling sleepy. Personally I have never drunk coffee for salutogenic purposes, it has always been for pleasure, because it gives me a pleasant sensation and I like its taste.

On the other hand I feel that in recent years the world has rethought what wellness means and what is now understood as a holistic health encompasses also the mental and emotional. In contrast to previous beliefs that focused only on physical health.

So why not consider coffee as part of your self-care routine? For me it is undoubtedly an important element in my emotional and psychological well-being. As I mentioned at the beginning, this week had a hard start, but the truth is that we have been having hard days, hard periods in my country for several years. And I will not deny it, a good cup of coffee always lifts my spirits. Either alone or in company.

Since I started developing content at Hive, I always sit at my desk with my thermos of coffee next to me. Sometimes ideas come fast, sometimes it takes hours. Sometimes I make drawings or videos and that takes time, so the longer it takes the more coffee I drink.

Without a doubt coffee has become an important part of my days, as well as of the relationship I have with myself and with others. Sitting down for a quiet coffee with a loved one can be a restorative experience. Besides, coffee has cultural connotations, it makes us belong to a special group of people who love coffee and that connects us.

Today together with my beloved @jetta.amaya we prepared a delicious coffee with milk and chocolate. We sat on the patio of the house and enjoyed it with a delicious piece of cake. We laughed, chatted and I felt everything bad go away.

Although it hasn't been conscious, coffee has always been part of my mental and emotional health care. of my important bonds and my tools to concentrate and enjoy work.

Alright, this was my participation this week. I really appreciate the space because it really made me think a lot and reflect. I hope you enjoy what I have shared with you. See you soon.

Sharing with friends is great, even more so with good coffee, it is a privilege to be passionate about good coffee, to taste it, savor it and smell it. It goes beyond everything common and transcends emotional barriers. Greetings

I am glad coffee makes you calm and collected. And you are right. There's hardship every day that it sometimes frustrates one to go to the outside world.

Drinking coffees with loved ones or friends always brings this sense of safety and love around one, and I am glad you felt it. Have a good day.
