Take a Walk at the Tsunami Museum in Banda Aceh
Hi friends, meet me again @alvonzo. how are you....? I hope all of you are in good health always.
at this meeting I want to explore a little story about a place that was a tragedy in Aceh, namely a place called the tsunami museum.
The tsunami in Aceh occurred on December 26, 2004, and it has been 17 years since an incident that claimed a large number of lives.
The Aceh tsunami has passed, but it is still being discussed by the community starting from the height of the waves, the earthquake as a sign of the tsunami to the many casualties.
The brunt of the tsunami waves that devastated the Aceh region occurred in a very short time, namely 30 minutes with a height of up to 30 meters and a speed of up to 100 meters per second or 306 km per hour, as a result, more than 120000 people died in the disaster. from television media. because where I live is very far from the location of the tsunami at that time I was still in high school.
Aceh tsunami museum is a museum that was built to remember the events that happened on December 26, 2004, besides that it can also be a center for education and disaster protection if a tsunami occurs in this area again. this museum has been named the most popular museum in Indonesia according to the historical footprints community beating hundreds of nominations for museums in Indonesia, this museum has a high financial frequency, every day very crowded with visitors who come up to 2,000 or 3,000 visitors, if the day his day off reaches 6000 visitors.
