I've always liked the look of this, it feels like it's come straight out of an episode of Thunderbirds 😁

If nothing else, it'll attract enemy fire in the hope of killing it before it uses the missile. Once it's fired, it's kind of like a Chimera with half the weapons and no troops inside.

Hahahaha, yeah if the Guard player wants to prevent the enemy from killing it, its quite easy. The Deathstrike does not need to see its target. It does not even say Indirect Fire on it. It just shoots where the marker is.

It also has no range. Can you imagine the glee one would have in a large scale game sticking Deathstrike markers on the battlefield where a horde of aliens are now traversing over and then letting loose the payload?

But for 2000pts games I imagine that after shooting the Deathstrike and the Hunter-Killer Missile that the Deathstrike would be good for doing actions and holding the back objective and for screening the opponent Deepstrikes.

In a really big game, Apocalypse or similar, I can imagine the effect of a battery of the things, either firing at a single massive high-value target like an Imperial Knight, or landing several missiles near each other to blanket a zone full of orcs or other "Horde" enemies.
