Hola queridos míos que placer y que alegría estar reuniéndome nuevamente con ustedes, para revivir los buenos momentos y la música que toca cad fibra de nuestro ser.

Hace unos días les comentaba que ya estaba retomando la jornada de trabajo regular, pero aparte estaba montado en otros proyectos musicales que ocupan tiempo significativo pero que el resultado vale la pena. Hoy quiero compartir lo que fue unos de estos hermosos proyectos y la experiencia que ha sido para mí el poder haber formado parte de este evento.

Hello my dears, what a pleasure and what a joy to be meeting you again, to relive the good times and the music that touches every fiber of our being.

A few days ago I told you that I was already resuming my regular work day, but apart from that I was involved in other musical projects that take up significant time but the result is worth it. Today I want to share what was one of these beautiful projects and the experience that has been for me to have been part of this event.

El día 30 de septiembre se estuvo realizando en el Teatro Luis Mariano Rivera de la Ciudad de Cumaná de donde soy originario, la VII Gala de Boleros, edición Juvenil, organizada por la Banda Municipal Sucre, dirigida por el Maestro Vladimir Rodríguez; contando con la participación de talentosos Jóvenes procedentes de La Fundación Arte y Ópera, Academia Germán Segura y cantantes independientes de nuestro estado.

La calidad vocal e instrumental de este evento fue maravillosa, así como la receptividad del público presente que no se hizo esperar. Tener la oportunidad de rememorar temas de otras generaciones y que cada artista le agregué su toque personal para hacerla más actual ha agregado al bolero vigencia y trascendencia.

On September 30, the VII Boleros Gala, Youth Edition, was held at the Luis Mariano Rivera Theater in the city of Cumaná, where I am from, organized by the Sucre Municipal Band, directed by Maestro Vladimir Rodríguez, with the participation of talented young people from the Art and Opera Foundation, the Germán Segura Academy and independent singers from our state.

The vocal and instrumental quality of this event was wonderful, as well as the receptivity of the public present, which was not long in coming. Having the opportunity to remember songs from other generations and that each artist added his personal touch to make it more current has added to the bolero validity and transcendence.

Confieso que después de semanas de ensayo en las que solo veía a mis compañeros interpretar sus y yo no poder hacerlo porque el arreglo de mi canción no se había sacado aún, me causo incertidumbre, hasta el punto de pensar que no participaría en este evento. Pero finalmente el martes antes del evento llegó y en tan solo dos ensayos se logró montar mi tema, titulado la Copa Rota, un gran éxito del bolero de despecho o desamor; muy popularizada por cheo Feliciano y compuesta por Benito de Jesús.

Para no extenderme más, les cuento que la puesta en escena, fue algo más del momento ya que no hubo tiempo de hacer un ensayo de escena, el bailarín, supo desenvolver y agregar un toque más de vida para agregar el toque personal de mi interpretación. I confess that after weeks of rehearsals in which I only saw my colleagues performing their songs and I could not do it because the arrangement of my song had not been released yet, it caused me uncertainty, to the point of thinking that I would not participate in this event. But finally the Tuesday before the event arrived and in only two rehearsals my song was arranged, titled "La Copa Rota", a great bolero hit, very popularized by Cheo Feliciano and composed by Benito de Jesus.

To not extend more, I tell you that the staging, was something more of the moment since there was no time to do a rehearsal scene, the dancer, knew how to unwrap and add a touch more life to add the personal touch of my interpretation. Grateful to all who supported us in any way to project our talent in this Gala, I hope you like it.
