The Hammer Of Justice And The Lord Of The Crows Greets The God Of War
Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.
Today, I will share Atreus and Kratos's journey through Midgard after their vicious encounter with the Vanir goddess.
Without further ado, let's begin!
I started the game with the hardest difficulty which is Give Me God Of War. Then, I found out that Freya actively tried to kill Kratos and to prevent her from entering their home, they put up a barrier of sorts to repel her spells and her. Once they reached home, they found out that one of their wolves was sick and needed to be put down. Atreus was deeply disheartened but they did it anyway and saw the flickers of light leave their home and out of the house.
Atreus wanted to spend some time alone. Kratos allowed it and later entered the shack where Mimir rested atop the table. Kratos took a short nap and found Atreus still outside the shack. Mimir pointed out that could mean trouble. So, they headed out and found a trail of bodies until they found a gigantic bear. Kratos fought it valiantly and was about to kill it but it transformed into a boy, Atreus!
That's when Mimir and Kraton knew that Atreus just found a new power and had greater potential than they knew. Thus, Kratos called for another training session.
As they made their way back to the shack, they saw the consequences of their actions. It turns out the bear that was killed was a she-bear with 2 offspring.
They faced off against a few bandits before reaching the shack and slept for an unknown time.
They woke up to a thundering storm so powerful that some parts of the shack got demolished. The person responsible for that? A fat man, towering over 8 ft. Kratos was ready with his axe with Mimir on his back.
The man had a hammer with runes carved on its sides. He said he wanted to come in and that he had mead. Kratos told him that he might not find his good company. The fat man did not care.
The man entered and Kratos directed him where to sit. The fat man entered and found the place to be beautiful. This is where they sized each other up.
As a show of mutual trust, they put down their signature weapons. Then, Atreust put 2 jugs on the table for the mead this polite intruder brought.
They shared a few words before the crows started to get antsy and suddenly a knock on the door was heard. Atreus hurried to the door and found the All-Father standing just outside. He took in the crows and allowed himself inside.
And then, we drank up the mean meant for Thor and Kratos and told him that killing Thor's sons was not senseless and that they were useless but Baldur had value since he was Odin's tracker.
He added more aspects to his deal, such as a no-war policy between him and Kratos as long as Atreus gave up his search for Tyr.
And lastly, he added that he would let them keep Odin's prisoner, Mimir, and let them keep away from Freya using some form of magic. Mimir spoke up and told him not to deal with Odin even if he said that the snow was white.
After such a kind and considerate offer, Kratos decided not to accept it I was quite perplexed to know why he did that. Odin decided not to continue with the terms and asked to go out. He told Thor just before leaving not to take all day.
With the snap of a finger, Mjolnir flew toward Thor as he threw Kratos out of the ceiling with it, and caught up to him in midair.
And so the epic fight began. I only passed through the first phase without dying and did not continue with the game since I was concerned about the stick slight stick drift I was getting.
The next episode is the fight between the 2 fierce warriors who enjoy a good fight.
