#AskLeo - how much diversification do you have into your crypto?
Hi,
for today's #AskLeo, the tag brought to us by @acesontop, I would like to ask you a question, regarding your assets. How much diversification do you have into your crypto?
I'm asking this question, after a comment from @shortsegments, where he (I think he is a he) stated that I'm diversified on Hive.
Well, this is kind of tricky question, as what is diversification in crypto. Being all in on Hive and the projects around is diverse enough or still seen as single asset from the crypto class.
I'm invested in 6 blockchains or better said, 6 crypto environments. First would be Hive, with the huge ecosystem, from Hive and HBD, to the tribes like leofinance.io. If we add the gaming portion, then my Hive world would be huge and a big chunk of it would be Splinterlands.
When naming leofinance.io and Splinterlands we already have different connections to other ecosystems, like ETH, BSC, WAX and Polygon for example. I got onto BSC, just because of leofinance.io and will probably get on Polygon for the same reason. On WAX, Splinterlands was the door opener.
Is this already too much diversification, or still too little?
If we spread the assets too much, there can be limited growth, or we will not see it. Spreading too little, we might miss opportunities. I think this needs a balanced view or approach.
I'm trying to set targets for each asset and after that, let it develop. If it starts bringing profits, a part is compounded, a part is taken out and a part is used for other investments. This is not optimal, as it can slow down growth if a project moons, but it helped me to have a balanced portfolio.
So, how about you, how much diversification do you have into your crypto?
