Monomad - Fungi (Coprinellus micaceus & Mycena adscendens)

Here is my entry for the daily #monomad

In this post, I again share some photos of mushrooms that I found in the interior of Aceh, precisely in the village of Serba Jaman Tunong, Tanah Luas, Aceh, Indonesia. I photographed one species of mushroom this afternoon and the other yesterday afternoon.

As for the fungus I mean Coprinellus micaceus, this fungus usually grows on rotten wood and I got it on rotten areca nut trees. And the other is Mycena adscendens, a species of fungus in the family Mycenaceae.

The appearance of these two types of mushrooms when viewed from behind at first glance is almost the same, but one is brown and the other is white. Here are some photos:
