Walk on Campo Croce, Monte Grappa - One of the largest natural bridges in Europe - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Today I'm taking you to Monte Grappa, to be precise in Campo Croce, a beautiful place that I've already seen on several occasions but this time the idea was to explore a new path.

Oggi vi porto sul Monte Grappa, per la precisione a Campo Croce, un bellissimo posto che ho già visto in diverse occasioni ma questa volta l'idea era esplorare un sentiero nuovo.

I thought of going up the path n. 100 which leads to the top, but if at the beginning the weather seemed clear, in a few minutes a strong wind picked up and I immediately changed my mind...

Ho pensato di risalire il sentiero n. 100 che porta alla cima, ma se all'inizio il meteo sembrava sereno, in pochi minuti si è alzato un forte vento e ho cambiato subito idea...

So I thought I'd try just the beginning of the route without going too far from the car.

To begin with, Campo Croce is a very beautiful location because it is a plain where you can often find grazing cows, donkeys and horses.

It is the ideal place to leave the animals free, a true oasis of tranquillity.

Ho pensato quindi di provare solo l'inizio del percorso senza allontanarmi molto dall'auto.

Per cominciare Campo Croce è una località molto bella perchè si tratta di un piano dove spesso si possono trovare mucche, asini e cavalli al pascolo.

E' il posto ideale per lasciare gli animali liberi, una vera oasi di tranquillità.

As soon as I took the path I was immediately amazed by the lush vegetation and the countless flowers on the meadows.

Appena ho imboccato il sentiero mi sono subito stupito dalla vegetazione rigogliosa e dagli innumerevoli fiori sui prati.

Another nice surprise were the donkeys, who in their tranquility watched me and tried to understand what I was doing.

Altra simpatica sorpresa erano gli asini, che nella loro tranquillità mi osservavano e cercavano di capire cosa facevo.

It's been a long time since I took a selfie... I'm not even good at making faces!

Era da tanto che non facevo un selfie...non sono neppure bravo a fare le smorfie!

I even disturbed a donkey trying to rest inside a WW1 military tunnel!

Ho perfino disturbato un asino che cercava di riposare dentro una galleria militare della prima guerra mondiale!

In the meantime I was trying to figure out how the weather was going... let's say I was optimistic.

Nel mentre cercavo di capire come volgeva il meteo...diciamo che ero ottimista.

Look at the beautiful landscape, it's another of those environments that if you're out of sorts, half an hour's walk is enough and the day can turn positive.

Guardate che bel paesaggio, è un altro di quegli ambienti che se sei giu di corda, basta mezzora di camminata e la giornata svolta in positivo.

Meanwhile I continued along the path...

Intanto proseguivo lungo il sentiero...

At one point the path slipped into a wood and the light was very little due to the clouds that blocked the sun.

It was windy and starting to drizzle so I went back and walked around the horse area.

Ad un certo punto il percorso si infilava dentro un bosco e la luce era pochissima a causa delle nuvole che oscuravano il sole.

C'era vento e cominciava a piovigginare così sono tornato indietro e ho camminato attorno all'area dei cavalli.

This avenue is beautiful to the left and to the right, beyond the fence you can see the grazing animals.

Questo viale è bellissimo a sinistra e a destra, oltre lo steccato si possono vedere gli animali al pascolo.

At one point my gaze and that of a cow met and it was immediately love!

Ad un certo punto il mio sguardo e quello di una mucca si sono incrociati ed è stato subito amore!

Our meeting was interrupted by rain however it was a nice time, maybe I'll come back to see her! :D

Il nostro incontro è stato interrotto dalla pioggia tuttavia è stato un bel momento, forse tornerò a trovarla! :D
