Exploration of the Countryside in San Zenone degli Ezzelini, Treviso - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

It was morning I had a bit of a cold and there was a cold wind outside.
I didn't feel like going out at all, so lunch time came and then as if by magic the beautiful sun came out and the wind calmed down.

I was very undecided but in the end I made up my mind and went to San Zenone degli Ezzelini in the province of Treviso.

Era mattina avevo un po' di raffreddore e fuori c'era un vento freddo.
Non avevo nessuna voglia di uscire, così è arrivata l'ora di pranzo e poi come per magia è uscito un bel sole e il vento si è calmato.

Ero molto indeciso ma alla fine mi sono deciso e sono andato a San Zenone degli Ezzelini in provincia di Treviso.

Near the Al Portego farmhouse, which I recommend because you can eat delicious cold cuts there at reasonable prices, an easy route begins that immerses you in the countryside.

This time I decided to explore something new so after 200 meters taking a gravel road on the left I skirted a vineyard with Monte Grappa in the background and began to explore the spontaneous wild flowers, the sound of a small stream shielded by the spontaneous plants to arrive at a small village.

Non avevo nessuna voglia di uscire, così è arrivata l'ora di pranzo e poi come per magia è uscito un bel sole e il vento si è calmato.

Ero molto indeciso ma alla fine mi sono deciso e sono andato a San Zenone degli Ezzelini in provincia di Treviso.

Nei pressi dell' agriturismo Al Portego, che vi consiglio perchè lì si possono mangiare affettati buonissimi a prezzi contenuti, inizia un percorso facile che si immergente nella campagna.

Per questa volta ho deciso di esplorare qualcosa di nuovo così dopo 200 metri prendendo una stradina di ghiaia a sinistra ho costeggiato un vigneto con lo sfondo del Monte Grappa e ho cominciato ad esplorare i fiori spontanei di campo, il suono di un piccolo torrentello scermato dalle piante spontanee per arrivare ad un piccolo borgo.

Some of the rustic buildings were interesting and atmospheric but I was totally captivated by the blooms that surrounded me!

Alcuni edifici rustici erano interessanti e suggestivi ma ero totalmente catturato dalle fioriture che mi circondavano!

Wisteria is a plant that has always fascinated me, sooner or later I will make a bonsai with this essence!

Il glicine è una pianta che mi ha sempre affascinato, prima o poi farò un bonsai con questa essenza!

These, however, are peonies with gigantic flowers, a beautiful sight!

Queste invece sono dell peonie con dei fiori giganteschi, un bellissimo colpo d'occhio!

Then I turned left again trying to make a loop that would take me back to the car.

At the side of the road another splendid flowering, this time it was the viburnum!

Poi ho svoltato ancora a sinistra cercando di compiere un giro ad anello che mi avrebbe riportato all'auto.

Al lato della strada un'altra splendida fioritura, questa volta si trattava del viburno!

I walk 50 meters and am left speechless looking at the lawn in the shade of large locust trees and other shrubs.
A carpet of white wild garlic flowers, a truly beautiful effect.

Faccio 50 metri e rimango a bocca aperta guardandoil prato all'ombra di grandi robinie ed altri arbusti.

Un tappeto di fiori bianchi di aglio selvatico, veramente un bell'effetto.

After 300 meters I spot an interesting building.
It was a Bed&Breakfast, but calling it that was an understatement, it was a fabulous place!

Look at how beautiful this wooden walkway overlooks the canal.
A wisteria plant ran along the parapets in bloom! Stupendous!

Dopo 300 metri mi scorgo un edificio interessante.
Si trattava di un Bed&Breakfast, ma chiamarlo così era riduttivo era un posto da favola!

Guardate che bello questa passerella di legno che sovrastava il canale.
Sui parapetti correva una pianta di glicine in fiore! Stupendo!

After the villa, I rejoined the main path and after contemplating that splendid landscape for the last time, I thought: yes, it was a long walk, but how many beautiful things I saw!

I felt rejuvenated!

Dopo la villa, mi sono ricongiunto con il sentiero principale e dopo aver contemplato per l'ultima volta quello splendido paesaggio, ho pensato: si, è stata una preve camminata, ma quante cose belle che ho visto!

Mi sentivo rigenerato!
