A couple of weeks before it started to snow I went on a nice hike on Monte Grappa, in particular I went to the Poise Valley at 1300 meters above sea level.

Un paio di settimane prima che iniziasse a nevicare, sono stato a fare una bella escursione sul Monte Grappa, in particolare sono stato alla Valle di Poise, a 1300 metri di altitudine.

Going up the Cadorna road, you pass the Camol hut and after 300 meters, when you see a group of old stone houses on the left, you can park your car and start this beautiful excursion.

Then you come out of the woods and the view opens onto an open and bright space. It was cold, the ground was frozen.

Then the path becomes uphill, but nothing difficult, it's all pleasant and stimulating.

At a certain point you come to an ancient beech, majestic compared to other plants.

It is called the Beech of Christ, as between its branches there is a statue of Christ, I have not seen it, but I trust it.

This beech is 34 meters high and is estimated to be 150 years old.

The path continued on a carpet of dry leaves, now everything here is full of snow.

Here I finally arrived at the road, but since if I had walked the road I would have been in the shade all the time, I had the idea of ​​moving around a bit and taking an alternative path that was sunny.

By taking this alternative path, which in the cartography is called "100", the view of the landscape is guaranteed, the only problem is that there was fog in the plains!

The next section of the path slipped into the vegetation.

Path 100 passes right next to the first line of Italian trenches, from the First World War.

Il sentiero 100 passa proprio a fianco della prima linea di trincee italiane, della prima guerra mondiale.

At a certain point, after consulting the map, I left path 100 to connect to the Malga Camol road which was nearby.

Incredibly, under the branches of a fir I found a group of mushrooms, look how beautiful. I never thought I'd find any at that time.

How nice, I was really satisfied, a last photo with the colors of the sunset and then I immediately got into the car, it was very cold.
