There have been many tasks that I have done in my garden since the last time I showed you almost at the end of last year. Today I wanted to show you how my plants are doing and some ideas I have done to try to improve their appearance.

I had pending to show you the retouching I did to the pots because they were dull, so I decided to make them a bit brighter. So, taking advantage of the fact that I was painting the house in December, before washing the brushes and other painting tools, I used the paint residues to give color to the pots of my plants.

 
It has been several months since I sowed the sunflowers, it cost me a little since they germinated many but only these two survived, they did not resist because some bugs and doughnuts consumed their roots. Also due to my lack of experience I over watered them and their stems could have been consumed.

 
And here is the first fruit gift my garden has given me this year, a delicious pineapple to pamper my palate. 🍍👏🏼

 
This month the sun has been super intense, the high temperatures overwhelm the plants and burn their leaves. To maintain them I have applied horse manure compost mixed with sand and watering daily. I am trying to rescue this lemon so that it does not die.

 
In spite of the intense sun and the high temperatures of these last days some of my plants are still radiant, I hope they survive and manage to arrive healthy to the month of the beginning of the rains, but there are still about 2 months to the beginning of the season.

 
In the meantime we continue to be active in our garden and receiving the goodness it brings us every day. A giant hug to all the garden lovers 🏡🌱🤗

Actualización de mi jardín Marzo 2024 🌿🏡

Muchas han sido las tareas que he realizado en mi jardín desde la última vez que les mostré casi al final del año pasado. Hoy he querido mostrarles como están mis plantas y algunas ideas que he realizado para tratar de mejorar su aspecto.

Tenía pendiente mostrarles el retoque que le hice a las macetas porque estaban opacos, por lo que decidí ingeniármelas para darles un poco de brillo. Así que aprovechando que estaba pintando la casa en diciembre, antes de lavar las brochas y demás utensilios de pintar los usaba aprovechando los residuos de pintura para darle colorido a las macetas de mis plantas.

 
Han pasado varios meses desde que sembré los girasoles, me costó un poco ya que germinaron muchos pero solo sobrevivieron estos dos, no resistieron porque algunos bichos y rosquillas se consumían sus raíces. También por la falta de experiencia me excedía en el riego y se podrían sus tallos.

 
Y aquí está el primer regalo de frutas que me ha dado mi jardín este año, una deliciosa piña para consentir mi paladar. 🍍👏🏼

 
Este mes el sol ha estado súper intenso, las altas temperaturas agobian las plantas y queman sus hojas. Para mantenerlas he aplicado abono de estiércol de caballos mezclado con arena y el riego a diario. Estoy tratando de rescatar este limón para que no muera.

 
A pesar del sol intenso y las altas temperaturas de estos últimos días algunas de mis plantas aún se mantienen radiantes, espero que sobrevivan y logren llegar sanas al mes de inicio de las lluvias, pero aun falta alrededor de 2 meses para que inicie la temporada.

 
Mientras tanto seguimos activos en nuestro jardín y recibiendo las bondades que nos brinda cada día. Un abrazo gigante a todos los amantes del jardín 🏡 🌱🤗
