Money plant: Care and flowering. 🌿💰😊

Hello dear friends, a new week begins and the @topfivefamily continues to provide us with interesting topics to activate our creative writing.

When I see this beautiful plant, I quickly identify with it because this species is one of my favorites at home. The first one was given to me by a friend, she told me it's called the money plant because it attracts economic prosperity to those who have it in their homes or businesses. They are popular beliefs, I wish this plant would give me a lot of prosperity with beautiful dollar flowers. 😄😄

I particularly took a lot of love for that plant, in addition to being a beautiful gift from my friend, it is a plant that stands out for its intense green color. Its leaves look like plastic and its flowers are a charm, something similar to calas but in a soft beige tone that turns green as they age.

This plant requires special care because it cannot be subject to extreme temperatures, it is considered an indoor plant so it is common to see it adorning the spaces of the house, shops or office. I often see people tying red ribbons around it and some Chinese coins, people have actually believed that it is the plant that attracts money.

My recommendations for growing this plant

• Use a substrate that does not get waterlogged
• Do not abuse watering because it can rot
• Do not put it in direct sunlight
• Frequently clean its leaves with water and a clean cloth.
• When you see that its leaves turn yellow it is because it is receiving too much sunlight, move it to a place with more shade.

My secret to activating its flowering is to put coffee grounds in the substrate, I mean the residues of the strained coffee. This has the ideal combination of phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium that will make your money plant show its splendor. Do this and within a few days you will see beautiful flowers adorning your plant.

If you prefer, you can give it a small ration of granulated vitamin that is sold in nurseries. You just have to be careful not to abuse the fertilizer because your plant could die.
