Coffee chocolate: the fallen club ☕😃
Hi friends, today I present to you a very popular coffee shop located in the center of San Fernando de Apure in Venezuela. This coffee shop has become the ideal place for a pleasant chat, it is also the meeting place for elderly people, but also for the younger ones since several state institutions, shops and medical centers are located around it, making it accessible to everyone.
It is a quite simple site, it consists of two environments one outside the premises and the other inside with air conditioning, only that it is not a totally closed place, it always keeps the main door open because it is a constant coming and going of people.
This coffee shop has a family atmosphere although it is a commercial premises. When you enter here you notice the camaraderie between the customers and also with the owner. It is noticeable that it is a place where people have fun and socialize while enjoying their delicious coffee, it also offers breakfast and lunch.
The working day starts very early, at 5:30 am they are already receiving customers and their closing time is approximately 6:30 pm. With time Café Chocolate has become a reference site in the locality, where retired or elderly people go to state their jokes, socialize and even have strong discussions about political, sports or economic issues, but everything is developed within healthy friendship. The next day they meet again to continue with the same discussion or comment on the news of the day.
In a joking way they call it the club of the fallen referring to the elderly people whose sexual life is in decline. 😂 So, as a joke, when a younger person goes to the site they usually tell him that he is reserving his place in the club. 😂😂
Something that caught my attention were some infographics that are just near the coffee machine. The first from left to right says:
"Count your age in friends, not in years,
count your life by its smiles, not by its tears ..."
John Lennon
There is also one by Charles Chaplin:
"Never forget to smile, because the day you do not smile, is a lost day"
These messages try to give encouragement to the people who visit the coffee shop. Really even though it is a quite simple place it is the ideal place to talk to friends. I had the opportunity to enter after 1:00 pm and there were few people, however it had the same fun atmosphere and it was exciting to see how the grandparents talked pleasantly among themselves.
The specialty of the house is the chocolate coffee and hence its official name, although its popular name of club prevails. 😂 The chocolate coffee they offer, as its name indicates, is a delicious mixture of coffee with milk and chocolate, it is really very tasty, I tried it a few weeks ago and I loved it.
These are the prices they offer:
1 small coffee = 10 Bs (0.29 $)
1 medium coffee = 15 Bs (0.44 $)
1 large coffee = 20 Bs (0.59 $)
1 chocolate coffee = 23 Bs (0.68 $)
On this occasion my friend and I ordered two medium coffees and we spent 30 Bolivares which are approximately 0.88 $. They were delicious it was the perfect complement to lower the laziness of noon.
Although it is not a luxurious coffee shop the most important thing about the place is that you can enjoy the delight of a good coffee in a healthy company or alone, if you prefer it for a very affordable price. While waiting for my coffee I noticed that near the door there was a gentleman who was enjoying his coffee alone. As you can see there is something for everyone.
In my locality I have not seen family coffee shops, I would not mind if it is commercial or family, for me the important thing is that it is a cozy atmosphere and the coffee is delicious.
This is my entry for week 30 #TheCoffeeShopPrompt you can read the rules here and participate in this fabulous challenge tell us if you prefer coffee chains or those that have a family feel.

So "The Club of the Fallen" 😂
We Venezuelans always find the way to joke about this. It's a healthy thing, I believe, to be able to laugh at yourself when old age changes you--even if it changes you to make little things go "fallen," hehe
Thank you for the tour, @alborhada. It's been a long time since I visited Apure.
If there is something that characterizes us, it is good humor in all circumstances even when our body no longer responds like before 😁 In that cafe shop there are always smiles and a coffee.
I hope you can come back here very soon @marlyncabrera
Yes, that's both our virtue and our curse!
I hope I can come back soon, too 😁
The shop is nice and the coffee looks really tasty. You venezuelans don't joke with coffee and that's really good ☕🙂. Here there's no much importance to it but we love to take coffee. But I haven't seen a shop just fir coffee here 🙃🙃
It's nice to have a place where everyone can have a good time, that's essential for good living. Thanks for stopping by @madilyn02
That's a valid point to note.
That's a funny joke from your fellow men.
This was a lovely write-up, overall.
Thanks @millycf1976 one of the things I love about that place is that the customers are happy there if only for that instant, enjoying something they love, coffee.
Hello friend, how nice and cozy that is a great place to go and enjoy a good coffee, it must also be incredible to see that large number of people who spend their time there, as well as those older people who will already know thousands of stories. The prices are very good and accessible. Each cafeteria will have its own touch and those phrases are very good and of high quality. I hope you enjoyed it.
Hello David, it is a very nice place because the joy is contagious. It is worth visiting places like this. Greetings @davidpena21
what a cheap cup of coffee! it's really a cool price for a cafe. We've such prices only in street automats for coffee, all cafes propose prices starting from 1,5$
Hi @taliakerch Yes, the price is very affordable, I imagine that the owner tries to keep the prices affordable so that people can continue enjoying good coffee, especially the elderly.
The owner must make good profits because the coffee shop always has customers throughout the day.
I don't know what I liked the most: if it was the coffee, the tour you gave us, the jocularity of the phrases or the stories that those who visit the place have. Just kidding, what I liked the most was the quality of the publication and your way of telling it. Thanks for sharing. Cheers and best regards.
Everything is gratifying in this story @tonyes thank you for your reading 🤗☕
