My formal presentation for Hive by @alana77

Hello Hive members.

Today I decided to make my presentation on this platform. Tell you a little about myself and make my formal entrance to this habitat.

Although I came to this platform in May 2020, it was not until a few months ago that I started to write some publications, but until now I had not done any presenting myself.

THIS IS ME

This is me, this is who I am right now, it has always been difficult for me to define myself, because we don't usually think about that.

However, these two years, in quarantine and after radically changing my way of life have allowed me to discover myself.

Mi nombre es Sandra, ese fue el nombre que mi papá escogió padra mi.

En esta plataforma soy @alana77, siempre he resonado con el nombre de "Alana" que significa "Armonía". Supongo que es lo que siempre busco.

The number 77 corresponds to one of the highest levels that we can reach on this platform, or at least that's what a great friend told me, the one who helped me open the account in Hive. So this number reminds me of the goals to achieve.

Professions

Although I am one of those who thinks that professions do not defend the person but limit them (that is why we can be what we want to be), I have several professions, for some I studied, for others the same life was telling me that I should do it and others just happened.

I am a public accountant by profession (a career that has to do with numbers, accounting, financial statements, companies, laws.

I am a university teacher because life led me to this beautiful work, I love teaching and interacting with students, investigating how people learn in order to teach them.

I am also the coordinator of a department that in my country is mandatory for students to graduate, so each semester I have to work with all students from all majors at the university where I work.

Now, if you ask me if that defines me, then the answer would be: these are occupations that in my country are not enough to have a normal livelihood.

Yes, as you read it, three jobs in different areas do not ensure that you can buy a basic food basket.

That is why this kind of worlds (like Hive) fill me with joy and hope, it is like living in a world within another world.

Family

I am the eldest of two daughters, my family of origin is small and has become smaller after the death of my father (3 years ago).

I have a younger sister and my mother who live in a city that is 3 hours away from the city where I currently live.

18 years ago I got married and decided to start my family with my husband, we have 3 children (all boys), all three have been hyperactive children since birth and this year they were 16, 14 and 7 years old.

For me, being a mother is one of the greatest challenges in life, raising people without feeling that they belong to you and at the same time with roots is very difficult, teaching them to be independent and at the same time letting go of them is one of the tests of greatest love.

Tastes and passions

Believe it or not, my tastes are very diverse: I like to write, I like to create, I like to support others, I love music, I like to dance (although I never do), I love to laugh and make others laugh comes out naturally).

I like planting, nature, the simple life, being friends with people. I like photography and to contemplate beautiful moments.

Pets

I love animals, I have a dog named "Bear" and a cat named "Maou", animals are noble beings, who have personality and soul and love with sincerity.

What can I contribute to Hive?

Hive is made up of so many communities and each one of them is a possibility for development.

If you allow me, I can contribute quality content.

I would like to create ties of friendship with the authorities of Hive and with the people who make it up.

Each user offers a possibility to strengthen ties of friendship, knowledge, and that is what I would like to do.

I am a person respectful of the rules and I am committed to contributing original, quality content, interacting and valuing the work of others.

Starting today I will consider my entry as a formal citizen of this world called Hive.
