My Actifit Report Card: December 27 2023| Doutor Coffee in my neighborhood./うちの近所のドトールコーヒー/[ENG/JPN]

Yesterday, after reading olga2772's article, I suddenly became curious about Doutor Coffee in my neighborhood.
There used to be two Doutor Coffee near from my apartment.
One of them, the west one, closed down. That was about six months ago.

Cafes change very quickly.
I don't have a "favorite cafe" at the moment, but it would be very sad and very inconvenient if a cafe that I like enough to make it my favorite were to disappear from my neighborhood.

The Doutor Coffee in the photo is "Doutor Coffee of the East". (The Doutor Coffee store to the east, as seen from my room)
This one is located in the station, so there are always customers in the store and it shows no sign of running out.
It seems to be thriving on a daily basis.

Since it is really in my neighborhood, I would rather go home than take a coffee break here.
Still, it is unusual for me to enjoy a café so close to my home, so I stop by here very occasionally.
In that case, I have a warm sandwich or a panini.

Now it seems that "Luxury Hojicha Latte" and "Luxury Matcha Latte" are available in addition to the regular menu.
The hojicha latte sounds delicious. I think it looks pretty sweet, but maybe I'll order one next time.

Doutor Coffee has many such limited-time-only menu items that look delicious.
I'm not sure if I would like it, but I'll have to try it. I might not like it," but when they say "limited time offer," I am attracted to it.

In fact, I was surprised today when I looked at the Doutor Coffee store from the outside like this.
The panini was gone from the food menu.
Only Milano sandwiches were available.
I think it used to be possible to order a panini, but things are changing rapidly.
I feel that all things are changing.

Today, I had to get home in time for the courier delivery, so I could not enjoy the Milano Sandwich set by Doutor Coffee.
Tomorrow is my last day to come in and work. (I do have a half day of work-from-home on December 29!)
As a big year-end service to myself, I think I'll get a luxury Milano sandwich and go home.

昨日、olga2772さんの記事を読んで、急にうちの近所のドトールコーヒーが気になってきました。
私の住んでいる部屋から近くには２軒のドトールコーヒーがありましたが。
そのうち、西の店が店じまいしてしまいました。半年くらい前のことです。

カフェの入れ替わりはとても早いです。
今のところ「行きつけのカフェ」が私には無いのですが、もし、行きつけにするくらい気に入っているカフェが近所からなくなってしまったらとても寂しいし、とても不便になると思います。

写真のドトールコーヒーは「東のドトールコーヒー」です。
こちらは駅の中にありますので、いつもお客さんが入っていて無くなる気配はありません。
日常的に繁盛しているように思います。

本当に近所なので、ここでコーヒー休憩するくらいなら、もう家帰るよ、と言う感じです。
それでも、家の近くでカフェを楽しむと言うのが私としては非日常なので、ごくごくたまにここへ寄ります。
その場合は、温かいサンドイッチやパニーニをいただくことにしています。

今は通常メニュー以外に「贅沢ほうじ茶ラテ」と「贅沢抹茶ラテ」がいただけるようです。
ほうじ茶ラテ、美味しそうですね。かなり甘そうな気もするけれど、今度注文してみようかな。

ドトールコーヒーはこのような期間限定メニューに美味しそうなものが多いです。
「これは甘そうだなぁ。私はちょっと苦手かも」と思うようなものが多いのですが、期間限定という言い方をされちゃうと心惹かれます。

実は今日こうしてドトールコーヒーのお店を外から眺めてみて驚いたことがありました。
それは、フードメニューからパニーニが無くなっていたことです。
ミラノサンドイッチのみになっていました。
以前は確かにパニーニも注文できたと思うのですが、どんどん変化していきますね。
諸行無常を感じます。

今日は宅急便のお届けに間に合うように帰宅しなければ行けなかったので、ドトールコーヒーによってミラノサンドセットを楽しむことは出来ませんでした。
明日は出社して仕事をするのは最終日です。（12月29日に半日の在宅ワークがあるのよ！）
自分自身への年末大サービスとして、贅沢ミラノサンドを頂いて帰ろうかなぁ。

■ひとこと日記
そろそろ帰省の荷物を荷造りしないといけないのですが、手につきません。
帰省する時に新幹線の新神戸駅を利用するのですが、ここに楽しみがあります。
地元の郷土料理とカレーを組み合わせた丼ものが美味しいんですよ。
