The veggies were so good I cut up extra and grilled more.

Luckily there was very little wind on this day.
You can see the white ash from the burned out charcoal fire in the photo.
If it is windy, this white ash will fly up and become a big problem.
That is why many charcoal grills are deep.
I use a fire pit, so I barbecued while being careful of the wind.

I don't buy a charcoal grill stand because it would add to my luggage.
I used it for both bonfires and barbecues like this.
I hope to be able to use it in a different way to protect against strong winds.
