When virus strikes!

Wow! It's been a while since my last activity here on hive in general. So much has happened. September I contracted the COVID-19 virus which I thought was gone already but it wasn't that severe since I already got vaccinated. We never reported it to our local government unit because they might take me away and have me quarantined. We just did our own quarantine at home. The photo above is the one that kept me going and gave me hope for I know there is always a light after every darkness.
Since I am alone at our bedroom while recuperating from the virus this Himalayan salt lamp's light gave me the courage to face the on-going danger that I was facing that time.

I don't know where I got the virus but it's still lurking so we should never be that complacent yet. I know it was COVID because it's the same symptoms like when we first got it 2021. I have no sense of smell for more than two months so it's hard to eat when you have no sense of smell. I was glad my husband was not infected since he was the one who took care of me. Living in our separate rooms. It was not a good experience. Just when I thought I was already getting better after two weeks from the virus my vertigo struck me. I guess because I didn't get that much sleep and I kept on worrying too much. I just felt dizzy and bam! Here comes Vertigo! Have you had this sickness before? The feeling is the worst feeling a person could get. You are like inside the washing machine on spin-dry mode so I kept on throwing up, it was so bad and I had to endure it for a week. September wasn't that good to me. I don't know have you tried this experience like when it rains it really pours, not with blessings but with sickness! Thinking about it just makes me feel grateful that I've surpassed that ordeal and now I am back to my own happy healthy self again. Thank you Universe and thank you Lord, really.
These fruits were constantly in my daily menu. Hubby always lets me eat them so I can recover right away.

At times he would pet me by buying me a big Mac burger... Haha. I feel so lucky to have a very loving, thoughtful hubby.

I was often visited by our pigeons who always fly by our bedroom veranda probably just want to check on me and say we are here for you Mama Joie, no worries you are going to be okay, be strong. Seeing them and the greens surrounding me just gave me high hopes. Since September was a rainy season our avocado tree sprouted with new evergreen leaves which again gave me hope.

My Heart of Jesus plant which bloomed for the first time also gave me happiness. I don't know it seemed like nature around me just wants to cheer me up. They all gave their best to spread beauty.

There were nights that I couldn't sleep and I would open our big windows and take snaps of the magnificent Moon which was cloudy all the time.

At times I would go up to our third floor so I can see the sunsets. These were taken on three different days and time.

I am glad all of it were over and I survived that bad ordeal. I never got the strength or even the mood to write about something during those days because I really don't feel like using a lot of energy on my brain... Haha.

So, now that I am back I will definitely share to you more of my many adventures that took place after I contracted COVID.

Stay tuned for that.

Until my next blog. See you again.
I wish to acknowledge our admin Mr. @justinparke here in @aseanhive , my apologies for not being active.
Happy new year again everyone!

We are loved!

Thank heavens dear you have recovered as well. I hope your sense of smell is back already because that's what's hard to get back.
Thanks for dropping by.

Thank you. I lost my sense of smell on the third day but by the fifth day, thank God, it was back intact. Unfortunately, I have another symptom that hasn't gone away, red itchy rashes similar to eczema. I'm on medication and hopefully, it doesn't progress beyond this point 🙏.

Oh my, I hope your rashes will be gone already. Having itchy rashes is really very hard specially at night because they tend to itch when you want to sleep. Hope the meds will already work out.
Be well my friend.
