Shadow Hunters/ Smash Contest round 320, My Balete plant
Good day everyone!
Let me share to you the shadow that I snapped the other day while I was watering my potted plants. I have a marcoted Balete plant or weeping figs in English. Some of its uses are Latex used to seal minor wounds. Juice of bark used for liver diseases. Pounded leaves and bark applied as poultice for rheumatic headache. Mostly is is used for Landscapes specially the marcoted one's while mostly it serves as a shade for this tree can grow really, really huge and tall.
There are so many supernatural stories behind this tree. Like it is a home to white ladies, ghosts, vampires and other mythical creatures probably because when you see this Viney tree in its natural state, you will really feel some chills and goosebumps specially when you are walking alone at night... Oooooo! Creepy! Now my post has become a Halloween story!Hahaha.
Anyways, this is my entry to @melinda010100 #shadowhunters #smashcontest round #230.

Thank you dear friend, I am happy you like my shadow post.
Have a great day ahead.
There are balite trees in UPLB, especially in front of my former office. The trees are known to have ghost stories. Whenever we pass by the huge and tall tree, I can feel goosebumps.🤐

That's a very nice shadow sis! Funny how people tend to get away from that plant in the old days, now people make it into bonsais and more
Haha, so true sis because before people's minds specially the oldies are very creative they don't know how to make a book so thy just tell stories instead! Crazy, ghostly stories, kawawa si Balete, well you can't blame them because when you see huge, old Balete trees in person specially the really centuries old, they look haunted and creepy their viney appearance looks like that of the alien movies.😄😄😁
Thanks for dropping by sis. Kumusta pala weather nyo dyan sis mainit din ba?
tapos pag lalpit mo sa puno nanindig balahibo mo sis.
oo mainit din dito, kawaw mga crops, halos namamatay na
Your tree looks like it is very healthy and has a great shadow!
