If I'm going back to programming with a language-agnostic development environment, I should choose Rust. I really like what Fireship said about it.

I tried out some tutorials on Tour of Rust to check out why people call Rust difficult to learn. At least the basics didn't seem very difficult. I have learned some basic programming, but I have never created a useful app.

I did create some apps that are somewhat useful, but I'm too below intermediate in programming.

Oh, and Rust doesn't seem that hard to me, but it requires different way of thinking from other "high(er) level" programming languages.

That is true. But it is nowhere as different as taking a look at Haskell or APL. This APL example was especially mindblowing!
