There are many things to like on Hive, but it's not a get-rich-quick website, so don't be discouraged when you're getting low rewards. In the first few months, I recommend you be active in the community and learn from them, and don't be afraid to ask.
In my few years on HIVE, I had cycles of getting really good upvotes and/or not getting any at all, and I still barely earn enough (in my opinion) for the value I bring, but I'm getting there as this is a long-term game.
