Flooding As A Factor To Our Crops

Where we farm is enough to affect what we plant. If our farm land is not in a good setting not minding what we may plant it'll surely not have good harvesting. Flooding is a measure factor that is enough to affect the germination, growth, and harvesting of our crops. So it's very important to make a proper drainage for our farm land.

It'll not be good that after we cultivate our farm land and plant our crops. The crops germinate and with all the hope that our crops have germinated and about to grow then flooding watches them off. So many women have cried many times because of the damages flooding has caused them from their farm land.

Sometimes, people around your farm land can equally cause more flooding into your farm land. Th same has happened to us where the foreigners who're supposed to make a good drainage for our farm land couldn't do so which such has flooded all over our farmland.

It's usually very painful that one will spend all her money in weeding, cultivating, buying of crops, and planting the crops. When the farmer is expected to harvest her crops, flooding will watch the crops off. So many women nearly committed suicide due to the high level of damages flooding caused in their farm. Many protest has been done in our village teeling the foreigners to expand the road construction which is affecting our crops.

The only way to control flooding is by creating roads where every water can pass and then flow to a nearby flowing river. If the flooding that affect our crops is usually caused due to over filled or a river, it's important to control such actions because such will always happen every year. We can use woods built or planting of bamboo and other ways can help to control flooding from entering our farm.
