Immortal Phoenix Guild Brawl Report #4 ~ gladius card in the battle
Hallo, aemaezing people!
For this week's guild brawl, we were matched against a few top guilds like Gladiators.
I was able to use my gold gladius cards as I'm on fray 11, bronze cap and only gold foil cards are allowed! After 2 weeks I have another gladius case! Scroll down to find out what's my lastest gladius cards and my battles using my two gold gladius cards~
Let's go!
Final Results
Despite of having 100% fill rate, we failed to win most of our battles.
Choosing earth splinter was a mistake. I should have used water splinter too but it will be a melee lineup. 😩
It was a draw but I got the host advantage. 😌 My first try of the gladius card, it was hard to proc its bloodlust ability in this battle, didn't had the chance for the last hits. 😅
And wow... the opponent has legendary gold foil gladius card!
It seems that the opponent messed up their lineup. I checked their account and they own enough gold cards to fill the lineup.
My second gladius card in the battle.
Full of thorns battle! However, I have my heal ability on my tank and affliction ability from my support just so if they will have a monster with heal ability too.
My thoughts: What if Venari Knife was on the second position? How many melee attack will it provide by the Last Stand ability from the summoner and have they won if that was the case?
Ops... I wasn't prepared for their healing support. I was focused on the Holy Protection rule so I had the life splinter and put Silvershield Assassin with its double strike ability but it didn't work out the way I wanted. 🤣
Another face off against a tank with thorns ability while I have Mylor Crowling to provide such ability to my tank with healing ability. In addition, there's War Chaang who proc its retaliate ability. I feel like it was a cheat if the monster has two abilities and the battle rule is Up Close and Personal.
Two epic cards! 😍 I'm excited to use these in the future. I believe this Quora Towershead is really great in the equal opportunity battle rule.
