SCAM = Awair Element + PlanetWatch ?
Just a friendly warning.
Many people in the last two, two and a half years, me included, have bought Awair Element weather indoor sensors with the idea to connect them to PlanetWatch stream and feed daily the data they provide and thus mine tokens on Algo.
The devices had been sold for over USD 300, there was a waiting line and delivery was longer than two, sometimes three months.
Suddenly, with a short message the support of Element was discontinued, PlanetWatch no longer sells the licenses needed to mine their token with that device. The explanation was "too many devices sold". Shame on them!
No refund was offered and only to some users who provided all the documents from an endless list, a discount coupon was offered for future purchases.
Yeah, imagine one of those people who paid for nothing would buy a new device from them!
Lately, emails like this one below are being send, now the price is "only" $135.85 but still, that is one overpriced home weather station.
Similar devices by other manufacturers are sold between $20 - $40.
Meanwhile, anonymous "Jon Doe" accounts keep spreading misinformation that PlanetWatch tokens can still be mined with Element. That is 100% not true so I am now certain that is scam, on mass level. Please don't fall into that trap!
