Hello everyone 🤭 hope y'all are doing great 💕
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is: “Paper Kites.” This is a pressure-free invitation, encouraging us to explore new territory together" title of the cover I'm going to be doing is "light of the world" by Tim Hughes
I chose this song because God has been so great to us and he has done so much for us to the extent he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins🥺 he gave up everything for us so that we call can have access to him anytime,anyday🤭
About the background of the song (source Google)
"Tim Hughes penned the tune in 1999 as a response to how he felt after reading the second chapter of St. Paul's letter to the Philippians. More surprisingly, it was also inspired by a Stephen King movie. He explained to Christianity magazine: "I wrote this song when I was studying at university in Sheffield. I'd been reading about the life of Jesus, and about us imitating Christ's humility and the fact that Jesus gave up everything, walked upon the earth and was obedient even to death on a cross"

So with this theme I want us to explore Christ together 🤭💕
