John Schuhmacher Days Until The Titans Season Opener! + A Titans vs Titans Madden 23 Game 😂

In stark contrast to yesterday's post about Mike Munchak, former Oilers' offensive lineman John Schuhmacher had a much less decorated career. In fact, there is very little information about John online which is not really surprising considering he was not an elite pro player. But still, the kid in me is always mildly surprised when there's such little info on a player. He's a pro athlete man! HA.

Still though, John Schuhmacher is the most notable #62 in Oilers/Titans history according to the always handy Pro Football Reference, and that's pretty cool to me as a Titans fan! I'm glad to shed a little light on the somewhat unknown player!

Schuhmacher appears to be a west coast dude, born in Oregon and played college ball at USC. He was drafted by the Oilers in the 12th round in 1978! Crazy they had so many rounds back then. Schuhmacher would play with the Oilers until retiring after the 1985/86 season.

Schuhmacher played in 69 games for the Oilers, starting 51 of those. He appeared in all sixteen games three times. He started a full sixteen game season one time, and that was in his final season in 1985.

Schuhmacher showed the ability to play pretty much all over the o-line. Left guard, right guard and even left tackle. Good versatility!

Glad you were on Oiler Mr. Schuhmacher!

Once again, my notorious Titans Madden game, this time against a SUPER familiar opponent. I normally try to do a friendly quit when I get a Titans matchup, but this user wanted to play! I didn't record my offer, but I'm almost certain I offered!

Either way, this game is still a good game, and the matchup simply makes it more unique LOL.
