Day 12 Mass Indoctrination (Zoom) 26/10/2021

This is what I learnt from today's teaching, hosted by Bro Eli Soriano and Bro Razon Daniel,

It is God who dwells in us that allow us to do the good work, not by our power. Only God can make you do his good pleasure:

Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Do not love the things of the world(for they are perishable) but you should aspire for the things which are above:

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Different kinds of heart people have, which one is yours?

Wayside ground
Rocky/stony ground
Thorny ground
Good ground

These grounds are likened to man's heart:
The wayside ground: these are seeds that fell by the wayside, means the word of God that drops into such heart are easily swept away by the things of this world.

Rocky ground: these are seeds that cannot be rooted due to the hard ground. The words that are received by this kind of heart finds it hard to germinate because the heart is a stubborn one.

Thorny ground: the seeds can't grow because it fell into the thorns and are choked by it. The word of God in a thorny heart can't bring forth fruits because of the thorns, the thorns means lust after the things of this world.

Good ground: the good ground is the best, the seed is well rooted and brings forth fruits. Any man with a good heart receives the word of God with faith and acts accordingly, also bring forth the fruits of righteousness.

Matthew 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

Matthew 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

Matthew 13:5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

Matthew 13:6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Matthew 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

Matthew 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Thanks be to God.
