Street Art - Easter Turnarounds

Hello lovely Hiveans !

Today I have another entry for the Street Art Community and their Street Art Contest .. But this time it is not about a tag that I came along. It is about some Easter decoration that I spotted at all the turnarounds in the small city I have been to day, So it's kind of Street Art by the city itself 😁 .. Nevertheless, I hope you like it ^^

I Totally Forgot - It's Eastern Soon !!!

As I had a workshop in the nearby city today, I took a bus ride this morning. On the way I saw several turnarounds which were all decorated in Eastern fashion 🐰 .. I wondered a bit, as I did not have this Holliday in my mind, so I looked it up .. I figured out that it is already starting this Friday 😱

This was really important to be reminded to, as I am in the home office at the moment. If I had not to go into the city today, I would have totally missed it until it would have been to late. Now that I am remember ed, I could get some eggs 🥚 and chocolate 🍫 for it on the store in time. It would have been unfortunate for my son if I had forgotten that the Easter bunny would start it's tour this week 🐇

During the lunch brake I had an hour to get something to eat. On my way I passed some of the turnarounds again and could not withstand to picture them. I really like how the city is decorating them, fitting to the coming Holliday 🥳

It is kind of a very nice way of Street Art, also I am not sure if it counts as one in the more narrow sense of it. Nevertheless, I found it really well done and it hopefully touches the hearts of the people when they encounter them too 🤗

I would have loved to picture more of them, as they were many more, but my time was limited and I was actually food hunting 😁 .. But I am sure that you get an good impression here. Here in the area there are turnarounds everywhere and rarely traffic lights, which I like by the way. So it's looks like Eastern everywhere 👀

Besides the Bunny and the egg motives, I found that the motive of the storck was to be found nearly everywhere. This kind of surprised me, as I never thought that this bird was associated with Eastern 🤔

But I have an possible explanation for it 💡 .. The storck is associated with the birth of babies, as he delivers them to families, at least in the old tales that people in Europe are used to tell. As Eastern itself is associated with the rebirth of Jesus, there may be a connection there 🤔 .. What do you think? Do you have an idea why the storck I as a common Eastern motive?
